Kicks On Court - December 11th, 2008
Posted by George Kiel III | Dec 11, 2008 Last night, against the Charlotte Bobcats, Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets, took it back to the ’60s. They suited up in the white, red and black throwback uniforms of the old New Orleans Buccaneers of the ABA. In our Kicks On Court, Paul has been sporting some very nice Sky Blue/White Jordan PEs this year, but could he pull of a nice pair of PEs to match the throwback jerseys? The answer is seen after the jump.
CP3 hooped in a never-before-seen Red/White colorway of the Air Jordan 23. This sneaker featured a white upper with red stitching pattern on the side panels. Maybe the Hornets should hoop in these throwback uniforms more often. I am sure Paul would have much more to show in this colorway! Is Ray Allen slowly but surely losing his spot as King of Jordan PEs to Mr. Paul? On another note, the other great Wake Forest alumni, Tim Duncan, played in the Adidas TS Bounce Commander last night. After seeing him, Dwight Howard, and Kevin Garnett hoop in the OG Adidas TS Commander night after night, it is good to finally see the Three Stripes big men change it up for once. Im glad to see CP rock the xxiii. not too many JB members even rock em. why? I own a pair of the grey stealths n there not that bad. takes awhile to break in but once there broken I dare anyone to stick me on the isolation. lol!

the XX3’s are startin to grow on me.. cp3 does make them look nice.. and to answer the question for #23 vegeta1997.. New Orleans had a franchise when the ABA was around.. They were called the New Orleans Buccaneers.. that was way back in 1967

sugar ray betta watch out for cp3 he is clipping at his heels. I no sugar ray cant wait until cp3 shoe come out so he can take back the KING OF JORDAN PE back from cp3.

I agree CP3 has the best PE’s but the last 2 PE’s Kevin Martin had the 23″s white/ Purp and the 6rings White/ Purp have been the best so far
