Kicks On Court: Which ROY Candidate Has the Best PEs? - December 30th, 2008

Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose and Memphis Grizzlies guard O.J. Mayo are currently leading the NBA rookies in most of the more important statistical categories. With that said, the Rookie of the Year Award chase will probably come down to the last couple of games; however, we have another debate for you, the readers, to choose right now. Although neither player possesses his own signature sneaker yet, which rookie has the best PE? According to you, O.J. Mayo hoops in one of the nicest Nike Hyperdunk PE seen this year. Featuring the Memphis Grizzlies colorway, it contains a predominately black upper with sky blue and yellow accents on the shoelaces, side panels, tongue and heel. On the other hand, Derrick Rose has played in two different colorways of his Adidas TS Creator. This particular colorway is arguably the best one. It features a predominately black upper with red and white accents to match those alternate black Chicago Bulls jerseys we have all come to love. Rose vs Mayo. Nike vs Adidas. Which one is it? if i was a number one draft pick there is NO way on earth im signing with adidas over nike. adidas basketball shoes are crappola compared to nikes.

If I had that Shaq jersey, I’d rock THE SAME kicks with it. Then I’d rock and sock anyone that had a problem with it. I mean, Who’s gonna have a problem with a sneaker head that stands 6′1 320lbs. with over 500 pairs? Hell, you can’t even buy Shaq’s shoes in PHX colorways. I’d smh if I saw some hypebeast rocking a shaq jersey with some AF1’s or Jordans on. I guess the pressure must be too much in the high school hallways these days…
By the way I’m just joking out loud calm down these are just jokes.

D Rose lookin like iRobot with those big a$$ ankle braces. they kinda ruin the look of the shoes. But my vote goes to Mayo for the shoes and ROY. Rose turns the ball over too much

Derrick Rose even tho they are addias the black and red color way is better than the Grizs colorway slightly I mean come 9 out of 10 would wear red and black any thing before you wear navy yellow and light blue
