Kobe Bryant debuts Nike Zoom Kobe IV on Court
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Dec 19, 2008 Last week Nike and Kobe Bryant held an official press conference to introduce the new low cut Nike Zoom Kobe IV to the world live on a webcast. Tonight while taking on the Miami Heat, Kobe took the court in the Nike Zoom Kobe IV for the first time wearing the “Venom” colorway. This colorway released in extremely limited fashion to just two stores earlier today limited to only 24 pairs per store. (Of course they hit eBay)

I just got this red version today in my country. Its awesome , than i went to test out the shoe in some basketball indoor court when is early and no one in there. Compared with my adidas low cut basketball shoe … this one is 2x lighter and also my previous shoe was so dam heavy.
This shoe rocks…..

i bought a pair of these and have played in them for a week straight.they are the lightest shoe on the market and are extremely comfortable.I have also had 17 years of experience playing soccer and these feel exactly like Kobe said they did on an interview on ESPN. They fit like a soccer shoe and you are just as likely to roll an ankle in high tops anyways. They are like feathers when you jump and your foot barely moves on a hard cut to the hoop. I really recommend at least trying them out before coming to the conclusion that they suck just because they are lo cut.before the 80’s everyone wore lo cut anyways.they did just fine. These are great for guards and small forwards. If you aren’t a hardcore power forward or center they would be fine too. and if you don’t like the color then shoot, check out the other 5 colorways…or wait til they come back to nikeid

i agree with #23, im a straight out Kobe fan for life and enjoyed his previous shoes, but the low cut killed it. Certainly Kobe will be injured by the end of the season or my name is Shaq, which is very offensive.

sorry i meant they have know anckel support. he said that he played in hightops and he still sprained his ankle. he was in the 2k4s when it happend the 2k4s have no ankle support. and he said that since he was in hightops it didnt matter he still sprained his ankle. but if he was in the new kobes when it happend he probbaly would have broken his ankle. i play basketball 7 days a week for 2 teams. i tryed the low cut jordan 22s and there is a big diffrence in support.

^ I would watch the video before I said that they have no support. We included some shots of the shoes being tested and they have incredible heel support.

One seller in LA with 3 pairs and one in Florida with 4 (some have already sold on eBay). I would rather ppl hustle kicks instead of crack, but it is kinda disappointing that only a handful of individuals will get a majority of the pairs to put up on eBay.
