Posted by Nick Engvall | Dec 16, 2008 After recently copping his 1000th pair of Air Force 1’s, Mayor,one of the most passionate AF1 sneakerheads out there, hasn’t missed a beat, and has recently hit up Nike Sportswear’s Nike iD Bespoke Studio in New York. The result of which you see here in the form of this fresh pair of Air Force 1’s.
The patent red accent colors on the swoosh, tongue and heel, sit a top a white translucent sole. The upper consists of a dark denim material, with offsetting gold stitching, that matches the buttery leather inner lining nicely. That clear midsole/sole just takes them to another level!
Reason I am most definitely copping the Huarache Forces when they drop.
But with these, man, that denim is lovely!
I’d probably switch the laces for the gold pair and give it more pop!

hmm, the colorway and materials are cool but i’ve never been a fan of AF1’s because of the thick soles. a bit spicegirls-esque for me.

These are pretty CIK! Love the caramel leather that is too sweet. Only thing I would change is the translucent sole as it could work wonders on another kick but doesn’t fit with this shoe. Imagine a gum sole on these bad boyz wooooeeeeeeh! Click my sig for our fresh new calendar!

Nice job Mayor. Those clear bottom’s kill it along with the denim, the red check, and the color of the tongue and insole. And for all you HATERZ, get your dough up cause the only reason why you are hating is because you can not afford a pair. I mean on some real sh*t, all you REAL sneakerheads can honestly say this is a really nice shoe. Bespokes are the PRIME of AF1’s.
