What a way to finish a legacy. The Air Jordan XX3 was just like the “last shot” going out with an incredible finish.

Where do I start, how do I finish? This shoe helped spark new interest in shoes for me. Yes, I was bored with shoes for a while. The Hyperdunk’s Flywire and Lunar Foam are just a little spark in the new bang of a new sneaker Renaissance.
New Balance MT580
At last, the MT580 comes to the US without going through Japan or consignment resale shops. Hands down the best $85 I have spent all year was for these shoes.
Supra Skytop Red Patent
Supra had an incredible year again with some insane colorups, but none hold a candle to the red patent Skytops.
Nike Air Penny II
I couldn’t convince my parents to throw down for the Penny II when I was in middle school, but there was no way I was missing out on the second chance.

Agreed with those MT580s. About time sz 12 feet can cop them. $85 is great but Foot Locker FF is even better. This color was mean and there were a lot of other colors out there. Maybe MT575s will be more widely available.

1. Carmine VI’s- Amazing colorway, favorite jordan.
2. Marty McFly Hyperdunks- Hyperdunks are just sick in general, and really is a revolutionary basketball sneaker. And to inspire a shoe from “Back to the Future” is such an amazing idea. The colorway is just sooo clean, and come on!!! LIGHT UP, ICY SOLES??? wow, just simply amazing
3. Black Cement III’s- Cement is just sooo dope, III’s a classic
4. Supra Skytop Gold perf 500K- In my opinion first started using the metallic colors this year. Metallic colors are dope.
5. JMJ Adidas Ultrastar- RUN DMC started this sneaker trend and we really owe them, their music, and fashion for all this. The ultrastar’s look almost exactly like the superstars so its all good. The sneaker is also dedicated to Jam Master Jay, and without him, RUN DMC wouldnt have ever existed. RIP JMJ

Yeah, it was Lewis beggin for the pack. I remembered that name a little while ago.
I know the winner was picked random, what I was saying about that is if the pack was going to be given to someone not randomly (like Lewis wanted), it shouldnt be someone begging for the pack. It should be someone who has supported this site from the begining (if they are still around). But since its impossible to know who has been around from the begining, random is best.
I still dont get why you would say 1k matters and 1st doesnt.. Neither matter. But w\e, it aint important.

im not shocked at the picks because it’s their personal picks, so why would they put a shoe on their list just because you like it? these are the shoes that they like whether they’re popular or not. honestly i love the VI’s but im not a fan of the carmines in particular but i do respect their place in the shoe world, so i appreciate them for being themselves and making a list based on what they like and not what we like. I love the Air Max structures, but i’m not mad because they didnt make their list.

air jordan xx3s are the only air jordans to drop since he retired after winning his final ring that i could actually see michael jordan wearing. i could see michael with his salt-n-pepper mustache droping 47 on lebron rocking those bred xx3s; its plenty of new talent on the come-up in the NBA but i dont care to watch it nowadays until the play-offs and the all-star game since michael left. love you MJ; your #1 fan.

I am gonna go with all the XX3s, and the 11/12 pack.
Best of 2008, I know I left some out, but you know what I mean.
All the best shoes from each CDP (I think we all know which ones we liked, remember the CDP tourney voting), and the Black Fridays XX3s, and wished the Breds XX3s were a general release… the Titaniums should’ve been the only 23 stores/23 pairs shoe!!! But that’s just me.
