Nike Blazer and Nike Air Max 1 “Year of the Ox”

2009 will be considered China’s Year of the Ox, and Nike has designed two sneakers inspired by this upcoming year’s theme. Releasing in China only, this pack is equipped with a Nike Air Blazer and a Nike Air Max 1. Both sneakers feature a predominately white/bone upper with brown and China Red accents. Supposedly, the colorway pays tribute to the military uniforms worn during the Chinese Revolution between the 1960s and 1970s. The word, ‘perseverance’ is imprinted on the tongue in yellow Chinese letters, while an ox graces the heel in representation of this year’s theme. Click the jump to view more pics of each sneaker.
