Nike Air Force 2 “Nintendo Wii” Detailed Look
Posted by George Kiel III | Dec 17, 2008 As part of our Sneaker Geek: Top 10 Video Game Inspired Sneakers, we showed you this Nike Air Force 2 “Nintendo Wii”. Although this sneaker is set to release in Spring/Summer 2009, we have now spotted a pair available at eBay.
The Nike Air Force 2 “Nintendo Wii” features a multi-textured upper containing white/metallic silver safari print, ostrich leather, white leather and white mesh. The most interesting feature is the clear plastic panels spotted on the sides of the sneaker. The Nike logo is imprinted on the tongue encircled by the Nintendo Wii On/Off button. It’s not even just the clear material that makes these nasty, the entire shoe was just done horribly. That weird shiny pattern was a VERY VERY bad idea.

i thought they were going to turn out to be horrible because of all the other trash collaborations but this is pretty nice

no sir”.your toe meat will be sweltering in that see through plastic. i dont see no influence or inspiration of the wii in this shoe, i like the clear sole and some of the paneling but i could’ve been more creative than that.

So much going on, I’m not even sure what Nike was going for. Given the design of the Wii and the nice accent blue, these could have been hot. The sneaker should have been just plain white, with a little patent leather and accented with the blue, imo. *lol*
These are just a hot mess. I can’t even give Nike an ‘E’ for effort.
