Nike Sportswear has a solid lineup of sneakers for 2009, but one that caught our eye from the beginning is this pair of Safari Print Air Max 1’s.
Could this print be the next elephant print? Whatever the case, at least the print originated on a pair of running sneakers than on basketball sneakers for those trying to keep their kicks historically accurate. These are technically in the January offering to Nike Sportswear retailers, but they have arrived a little early to Proper in Long Beach, CA.

I love gray and AMs so these are pretty good in my book. but it looks like a leather toebox. is that the case? if so then they are less attractive

These are…RAW. They remind me of those womens cement blazers that released recently, but better. I’ve been dying to get a new pair of AM1’s(preferably with a black sole but these make the exception) since my polka dots are getting pretty beat up.

safari isn’t the new elephant print, lephant was the follow up to safari. from what i know safari was used alot more before this surge of elephant since 2004
