Nike Air Max 1 Year Of The Ox
Posted by Nick Engvall | Dec 17, 2008 The Chinese New Year is just ahead on the horizon, this year it falls on January 26th, Nike gets ready to release some kicks to celebrate the upcoming “Year of the Ox” in style. The New Year, or Spring Festival as it is also known, is cause for major celebration in Chinese culture around the world.
The Nike Air Max 1 Year Of The Ox has some truly unique features. Nike is usually pretty stingy when it comes to taking their logo off of the heel and tongue tag, especially on the Air Max line. For these Chinese New Year inspired kicks, both of those spots are hit up with “Year of the Ox” graphics and colors to replace the usual Swoosh logo. Detailed look after the jump, via SneakerNews. |

I’m from the south and don’t do the ‘White Tee’ thing. It’s played and a cop out.
Then again, I get my grown man on and keeps it clean with the Polo if I’m going to go plain white. *lol* Otherwise, I’m going to put some effort in to actually finding a shirt to match.

From the side shot I thought that they placed a rising sun on the back of the shoe, but thankfully that was not the case.
I am really feeling these of the Year of xxx Air Force Ones they did for so many years.
