Nike Zoom LeBron 6 “World Tour”
Posted by George Kiel III | Dec 23, 2008 Even though the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 seems to be Nike’s darling shoe currently, it still does not overshadow an almost daily LeBron Zoom 6 sighting. This special fiery edition of LeBron’s latest sneaker is nicknamed “World Tour”.
When LeBron James visited the Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon over the summer, this Nike Zoom LeBron 6 “World Tour” was given as a gift to many of Nike’s employees. With that said, it was solely created as a commemoration to King James’ arrival. Arrival? First, they design sneakers for his appearance at the Nike Headquarters; did they bring him in riding on a chariot as well? They feature a predominately black mesh upper with a black patent leather toe box. The fiery red, yellow and orange accents appear on the gradient Nike swoosh, the multicolored triple stitching midsole, and the outsole. I like the shoe and the colorway, but whats the point if they are no where to be found but online?? For jacked up prices, and uncertainty of purchase. Nothing is safe, Ebay or what ever people know how to get around things now a days. “i’ll never forget when my cousin ordered some “custom” J’s. Paid, and never got a package in the mail.(2 years ago).

nike is trying a little too hard. c’mon you guys invented the collectible shoe. stop trying to reinvent the wheel. i was cool with these until i looked up and there were almost ten colorways in about two months of the shoe being on the shelves. nike continues to retro shoes but, they need to retro some of their business practices as well. i mean i like shoes like the next dude but all this oversaturation is going to kill the sneaker game. please, let’s not “punk rock” sneakers

I’m actually feelin’ these….as well as most of the other 6’s. I wasn’t really that into them when they first debuted….but they’ve grown on me. Might just have to pick up a pair.

Man, stop with all the hate! Most of the colorways that come out on this shoe will be hard to get your hands on anyway, so it doesn’t matter how many color ways there are. And how are they over hyped??!!! I don’t see anyone forming lines at sneaker shops to cop these. Lebron is one of the most dominate players in the league. Why wouldn’t you back a guy like that?
