Nike Zoom LeBron VI “Chalk”

Kobe Bryant and the Lakers will take on the Boston Three Party and the Celtics where Kobe will be wearing a special edition of the Zoom Kobe IV. LeBron and the Cavs will have a bit of an easier game Christmas Day facing the Wizards, but Nike still pulled out something special for LeBron James to wear on court.
LeBron’s pre-game “chalk throwing” ritual lent inspiration for the latest Nike Zoom LeBron VI commercial, but the ritual has now made its way to his kicks. The tongue has an added silhouette of LeBron holding his arms wide open, face towards the sky, and white powder raining down. The colorway of the kicks ties into the Cavs’ navy/red jerseys with an added touch of woodgrain wrapped midsole. Tune into TNT at 8PM EST to catch a glimpse of LeBron wearing the Nike Zoom LeBron VI “Chalk Edition.” After all, Santa isn’t the only one who likes to fly. |

it’s fugly. look at those laces, and what’s that? wood? it’s like straight out from a skechers ad. the big apple ones are waay better. and what does blue and wood have to do with chalk? should’ve made it white/grey/silver and some black.

It will be available on Nike.com starting Christmas day. It’s basically the Lebron B-day pack, just dropping earlier than Dec 31.

If you look on Nike.basketball.com it says that they release and Christmas online. Don’t know if it is true but it came from Nike so I have to go with it. I will call and make sure though.

not bad, on a side note seemed kinda funny that the big apples were so hard to come by in the states… over here in lil ol Perth Australia, apparently 20 pairs made to AUSTRALIAN SHORES!!!! Perth got 12 of those an i was lucky enough to cop em at the city footlocker. Just thought id share my good fortune

Nike is doing a good job on the Lebron VI from the “Big Apple” to these joints. I hope Nike puts out the “Hardwood Classic” VI’s ASAP.

lebron is slowly becoming like jordan… in the basketball game… and the shoe game… i just hope he gets traded to new york so that all of his shoes get the new york colorway treatment hahahaha. im sick of the cavs colors. but the cavs colors are fit for a king though.

Lebron is taking the chalk thing too far. Its not like he started it. Might as well have given Sprewell a commercial. The setting is on a blacktop court, he has no shirt on, Gatorade sweat dripping, they zoom in on his face and he says, ”Yeah I choke my coach. So what?”
Then the screen fades to black with a Nike logo
Now that would sell some Nikes.

No word yet from Nike if they will release them, but timing would be tough since the game is on a holiday that no stores are going to be open.
