This is the first time I have picked something other than an Air Force 1 for my Staff Picks. The colorway on this sneaker is second to none. I really like Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat, so I had to go with this one. Plus, this is one of my favorite sneakers of all time. I cannot wait for these to come out!

2009s growin on me! but i think it’s good they closed the numbered series with last years AJ XX3… no continuation was needed i think!! but jordan brand really must put out more retros coz that’s what the people want fo real!

While I disagree with most points comment #30 made, you can’t argue that, while having written a lot, he at least framed a comherent statement concerning his opinion.
Personally, the fact that these AJ 2009s aren’t officially going to be XXIV is no more a slap in the face to collectors as Nike continuing making Jordans beyond XIV. The concept behind no more #d Js is new and completely contrived as a selling and marketing point, not a homage paying point to Michael Jordan or Air Jordan collectors, and this comment comes from a person with several pairs of Js.

I HATE the AJ2009. Point BLANK, it’s a garbage shoe (change the patent leather, I think it would make a positive mass difference in the populations for and against the shoe). I agree with comment 6 as well: if you call 24’s a slap to the face, how about the garbage product they’ve been coming with since the retirement of his Airness? I’d call all of their horrible releases since then (which is too many to count) as disrespectful as a slap to the face.
I’m not a huge fan of the SBs, but you can’t lie: those are straight FRESH.
I LOVE the new Penny colourway; regardless whether he played 1 game or 82 for the Heat, it’s still a very nice shoe that shouldn’t have been placed under ‘Bad’ this week (in Good, Bad, Fugly).
The BAD for this week should have been the CREASE on that Infrared 1. LMFAOOO, that thing is NASTY. The shoe itself isn’t though…
SUPRAS = FRESH. Love the “Grape” colourway, don’t care if they look like biters: they bite better than JB can copy themselves (as was stated in the article).

Bad doesn’t always mean the shoe itself is bad, it can sometimes mean something attached to the shoe is bad. Or the 1 guy who really loved them was just outvoted.

the 2009 J’s are horrible that made it here that is a joke the Supra’s look nice fresh cw,the Penny II’s in that cw like I said before is amazing (and I hate red cw’s) speaking of which the infared one’s are fugly mint sb’s are also fresh,and > than most dunks (sb’s included) period
