Starting Friday night at the Z100 Jingle Ball Concert, where he busted out the recently released, Vandal inspired Red Nylon Dunks, the perfect match for his all red outfit. Kanye then followed up that heat with more fire Saturday at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Xmas Show, with a pair of Air Jordan 7 Raptors. Kanye calmed it down a bit on Sunday with his outfit, but his kicks were definitely on point. So what was Yeezy rockin’ on his way out of Los Angeles on Sunday? Kanye West–I like him. He’s talented. He’s original.
As for 50’s hating self–who I met on the Redman/Method Man tour bus in Knoxville, TN back in 1999 (before his first album debuted)–he’s alright. He seemed like a cool dude, but all his hate towards Kanye West just shows that he knows he is lacking something KW has got. Step your game up 50–you look like a chump!

What the hell is with everybody talking about “swag this” and “swag that”? His gear is corny. Musically, he went pop. Having your own style doesn’t equate to being good. ‘Ye is cool and I think he definately had a good run as a “style icon” and trendsetter…HOWEVER, like all good things his reign on top has come to an end…with respect to the fact he’s still “doing him” I’d have to say his style has become pretty mundane and *yawn*-inspiring…fitted clothing mixed with a nice pair of retros has become an everyday occurance now.
