Tomorrow, Jordan Brand launches the first colorway of the Air Jordan 2009 - limited edition Air Jordan 2009 S23. The black/metallic gold kicks take flight exclusively at the three locations of the House of Hoops and online at the Air Jordan Flight Club. The Air Jordan Flight Club is an exclusive, members only shop that features limited edition Jordan Brand products and other exclusive content. To get in the mix and gain access to Flight Club, text “flight club” to 23623.
Like with the debut release of the Air Jordan XX3, the Air Jordan 2009 S23 will come with a special cedar foot form that traps moisture keeping the shoes fresh and the right shape when not on your feet. Playing off the theme of the model number, this Air Jordan 2009 will be limited to only 2009 pairs worldwide - 1005 in the US, and 1004 for the rest of the world. Best of luck to those trying to get their pair.

i just got mine and I have to admit they look great in person. I know they are not everyone’s favorite but they are very, very nice in my opinion. I didn’t initially love the xx3’s, but now they are in my top 3. the quality of these is amazing as well (and it should be for $230).
Again, I know a lot don’t like them, but I think they will grow on people and be sought after in the coming year/years.

Reason? Most likely those PE 2009’s people may wear (Joe Johnson, CP, etc.) no one will be able to get their hands on, as is.

Even though I did cop these because I just enjoy JB sneakers and I am a JB addict, I’m quite surprised that its 11:56pm pacific time and there is a still a size 10 available on airjordanflightclub.com. That is pathetic. I would get the person who designed these shoes (I don’t know his name since he ain’t even on the JB radar only Mr. Hatfield is) and fire them. Send them over to the Lance Armstrong division and work on his shoes, but if he has some sort of pull send hiem to do the “morph” shoes or the useless Team Jordan shoes that come out.

Whoa! I’m kinda surprised, yet not at all surprised by the overwhelming response the new Air Jordans are getting. I didn’t expect this! I actually agree…this is a most uninspired design, but this black colorway is actually kinda nice in my opinion. But I’m one of those AJ fans who likes the least popular Js (ie XV, XVI, XIX, XX, XX2). I’m not crazy about these AJs, though, overall. $230 is rather steep, but I think since the overall public perception of these shoes is relatively negative, $230 is seen as steep. I doubt, however poorly they sell that they’ll end up @ TJ Maxx LOL

I don’t know…… I kinda like this colorway. I was hoping for them to drop in a better colorway and this kinda looks alright. The price is still a reach. I mean $230 for one pair. Throw a shirt and hat with it like you did in the 12 a couple of years back or something. I got paid today but I also had bills. May have to pass on this unfortunately.

Good luck trying to make a decent profit as you’re all expecting 500-1000 off these.
Let me break it down.
1.Mostly all the pairs will be resold so the market will be over-saturated.
2.Since the shoes do not come with a numbered hangtag, don’t go by the numbers that are being released, there is always a high possibility of being more pairs in circulation.
3. Unfortunately, the shoes are not hyped nor are in popular demand.
