Posted by George Kiel III | Jan 5, 2009 Without a doubt, we have seen our we have seen our fair share of King James’ latest sneaker. Whether it be the LeBron’s Family Pack, the Hardwood Classic, the “Miami”, or the Big Apple, the Nike Zoom LeBron 6 has set itself apart from LBJ’s previous sneakers. Yesterday, our Kicks On Court spotted James hooping in arguably one of the better colorways of his sixth signature sneaker.
Against the Washington Wizards, LeBron James laced up the Nike Zoom LeBron 6 “Triple Black” for the first time this season. If you recall, this particular colorway recently hit retailers last month. Unlike most of the other LeBron 6 colorways, this version features a combination of mesh and premium leather along the upper. It also contains a visible carbon fiber and clear outsole. Although this was the first time James wore the “Triple Black”, oddly it was not the first time this sneaker was seen on the court. New York Knicks guard Nate Robinson hooped in LeBron’s “Triple Black” a couple of weeks ago. Is this the best LeBron 6 colorway yet? Yup Ben has been wearing Blue Chips for about a month now… Thank god, cuz I am tired of those Steve and Barry’s he was wearin (aren’t they closing down?)
And I hope Von Wafer isn’t part of Jordan Brand..I think those are the Black and Army 6 Rings…. He hasn’t done much to get his own PE’s. All I can remember him doin was losing to LeBron in the McDonald’s Slam Dunk contest, and beating Duke when he played for Florida State…

I’m pretty sure Von Waffer had on Army 6 Rings not PE’s. And oh yeah. . . if LeBron would’ve taken one more step he could have “Traveled” from D.C all da way back to Akron!!! That was an obvious travel in every since of the word! He took like 9 & a half steps or sumthin! lol He shuffled his feet so much it looked like a new soldier boy dance!!

Lebron took three steps, you are only allowed two. But the ref hardly ever call it. Lebron traveled on I think two or three game winners VS the Wizards in the playoffs a few years ago.

^Lebron is whack???? At least show the guy some respect. Kobe’s the best, we get it, but Lebron doesn’t give anyone reason to hate him. He’s a great sportsman. He isn’t a good shooter(compared to Kobe), but he has some incredible drives.
I’m surprised the Lebron VI’s are so light. Eastbay says they’re 15.8 ounces and thats light for boot-like sneakers. Its probably the carbon fiber.

The LeBron ‘triple blacks’ are hands down the best looking Zoom LeBron 6’s yet, in my opinion.
Can’t get enough of those CP XX3 PEs. Particularly nice as he lost to my Nuggets
