Michael and Jordan Brand officially unveiled the Air Jordan 2009 today. The follow up to the XX3, the last of the numbered Air Jordans, has leaked in a couple colorways, one of which can be seen by Michael in these photos of it’s official unveiling. Alongside Michael for the unveiling were Jason Mayden the designer, Keith Houlemard the Jordan Brand President, and the first women athlete in the Jordan roster April Holmes. April Holmes is the first female athlete on the Team Jordan roster and competes on the US Paralympics Track and Field Team. She owns the world records (women’s T44 classification) in the 100m, 200m and 400m dashes, and her many accomplishments have earned her the title of “world’s fastest amputee.†With this rare appearance at that unveiling of his latest signature shoe, will the Air Jordan 2009 finally find respect in the sneaker community? I like the inventiveness of the shoe. I think with time and additional colorways, Jordan fans will latch onto this shoe.

true #14… there are definitely people out there that will just get the next pair of J’s for the sake of adding to the collection… but if they keep looking this bad, it’s going to be difficult for those hardcore jordanheads to keep JB bringing in dough for that particular line of sneakers.

#15 Not an embarassment, this design is terrible and I’m putting my foot down, and I hope everybody feels the same. Expencive last minute designs are killing the jordan shoe game. If everyone does not buy them, then we will be sending a message hopefully. DARRYL!

Total Trash…..!! Its downhill from now on for Jordan Brand when it it comes to footwear. All they can do for us now is retro OG jordans in colorways that havent been retroed yet ( for example the white and infra-red XI’s)…. NUFF SAID

Not as ugly as some past Jordans, but I was really hoping for a retro look this time around sinces it maybe the “last” Jordans. I guess there is always next year! NIKE please stop making fusions, I like the six rings because they have a meaning behind it, but please no more fusions, I bought a pair, they sucked and I sold them on ebay.

The all black colorway is cool. Probably will cop, but definitely want to see some of the J’s they are launching this year (saw a few diff. colorways of the 1 “infrared; some blue colorway)
But what is the name of the game?
I’m assuming that they are holding off an info while they focus on the 2k9 launch.
Anyways, the all black I’ll definitely cop….

I’d bet most of you wanting to buy this shoe has 2-3 important bills in collections. It’s really sad to think of how many people would pay almost 200.00 dollars for a show. Do you still think they make you run faster and jump higher.
