Nike Air Digs High
Posted by George Kiel III | Jan 28, 2009 Over the years, we have seen numerous classic sneakers make a comeback to our liking; however, it is very rare to see a women’s sneaker being retroed such as this Nike Air Digs High (men, do not be jealous).
Originally released in 1991, this sneaker was made solely for the women as a volleyball sneaker (explaining the shoe’s nickname). Similar to cross-trainer kicks, the Digs High contains rubber mesh on the side panels and plastic lace holders. This particular colorway features a predominately white leather upper with pink accents on the side wall, swoosh and tongue. It is also complimented by a teal inner lining and a stylish gum bottom. If a man gets an “okay” from his bride-to-be that he can wear a dope pair of kicks, then he can do that.
So what if YOU wouldn’t?

As Ikon stated, people go to Vegas and get married, some even DRESS UP as other people, but it’s “tacky” to wear a fresh pair of DMP XI’s with his tux (when that was pretty much the SOLE PURPOSE of their creation, aside from hooping)?
STFU, seriously.
A state of “flyness” is always in the beholder’s eyes.
A dude I went to HS with, went to prom with the b/red XI’s and a black tux with a red cumber-bun and was FLY AS EVER!
If a man can do that for his wedding, congratulate the man, don’t diss him.
Because chances are, many of you won’t EVER GET MARRIED, nor have a wife, who’s apparently as laid back as most men WANT!

IKON go with the 11’s if you remember jordan said when these dropped people would wear them with dress clothes. boyz 2 men wore them at some award show with tuxes on in 95′

Nice shoe. I sorta like the colorway, it sticks out but not to much. To Ikon Radio I say go for it. Though I still think it would be better with some nice dress shoes. I think the DMP Vi’s would look better since it is all black with a hint of gold, makes it look really classy looking.

Why dont yall just pipe down and let that man wear what he wants to his wedding. If his girl already said it was alright, then guess what? IT’S ALRIGHT. Anyway, I think as long as your sneakers have some sort of a dress shoe look, such as J’s (or anything else to your liking) then you will be stylin.

If anything, I had the same thought of doing the same at my wedding. Only I’d have to go with some decked out 3’s, but that’s just me. Only everybody involved gets sneakers. My friend please dont… I feel ya wit the love for the shoes an all man believe me,I got all 3 pair myself… but with a tux…at my wedding?? naa thanx…NO JB shoe can hold a candle to a sharp pair of wingtips or nice dress shoe. A die-hard sneakerhead. If my girl aint got a problem with it…no need to judge me fam. I love shoes, been dumb fresh since 80′ and honestly, besides family shoes are right up there at the top. And I’ve never been a tacky dude, anything I do will always be in good taste.
You got people getting married in Vegas with all types of actors and extras but yet in still you judge a SNEAKERHEAD for wearing sneakers in a ceremony???….. Y’all some lames.
