Nike Air Max 1 Safari Fall 2009

Nike Air Max 1 Safari Fall 2009

Back in 1987 Nike released two of the most iconic sneaker in running shoe history, the Air Safari, which has only more recently become popular, and the Air Max 1, which introduced the world to visible Nike Air. Nowadays, the Swoosh has been tossing all their classic sneakers into a mixing bowl, and pulling out new creations left and right.

The upcoming Nike Air Max 1 Safari is another creation from that mixing bowl. It not only takes the silhouettes of those classic sneakers, but also the most recognized colorways as well. The lower takes the White/Sport Red-Neutral Grey of the Air Max 1, and the upper gets the Tan/Charcoal-Black of the Safari 87. A nicer purple white and grey colorway will be available as well.

Check out both colorways after the break. Via NikeTalk user cubanbee.
