Vans Caballero High “Full Cab”
Posted by Nick Engvall | Jan 19, 2009 It’s hard to believe that the Steve Caballero signature skate shoe, the Half Cab, turns 20 years old this year. In the skate world that’s equivalent to MJ’s kicks turning 50 or so. Vans celebrates this year with the release of two editions of the Vans Caballero High “Full Cab”.
Taking the Half Cab and adding a little height to the ankle area (ironically the Half Cab was created because cutting down the Hi tops back in the day was the only way to skate). Vans also adds the tribute “1989-2009″ and “XX” on the heel area. A black with white and red colorway, and a white, black and violet colorway are both available now at Mischief for about $125. |

am i the only one on here old enuff to remember or appreciate this shoe? anyhow, the grey 20yr edtn, (not pictured) the blk on blk/chili peppers (not pictured) and the caballero purps 20yr edtn (not pictured)…..all copped….w8n for the pro pack to come along so i can snatch those up 2…gotta have dem red stuntz….kinda gotta know how to sport em tho…wouldn’t sk8 em cuz they’ re heavy, but they are fashionable. Vans have always made clean & simple shoes, in the dayz when erbody is overdoin Supra Skytops, from a fashion standpoint, go for these. trust me “ive gotten nothin but where did u cop?”
