A Brief History of Grammy Nominees and Sneaker Collabs

Every year stars hit the red carpet, and fans hit their couches to see what their favorite artists are wearing. There has been a number of artist not only wear exclusive sneakers, but their own designs as well. Some of them have been one time designs, and some artists have been able to turn it into long time partnerships with sneaker makers.
We decided to take a look at the past, and some present Grammy nominees that have also ventured into designing their own kicks. De La Soul Nike Dunks
De La Soul collab’ed with Nike on a couple different Dunks, and is rumored to have another collab on the horizon in 2009. It slipped our mind that they finally got some much deserved Grammy love in 2006 for their song with the Gorillaz, Feel Good Inc.

the shinoda’s are so fly but yet the most underated.
ive been with linkin park before they were called linkin park. they were hybrid theory/xero and chester’s old band grey daze.

EM 4’s, Clark Kents and Them Deftone Dunks go…
All the Greedy collabos are terrible. And alot of those other kicks are full of suck, expecially the Kanye LV collabo. Games shoe is pretty lame too, but I wont lie I had a pair when they dropped… Now i just kinda look back like… dude….that wasnt cool.
Shinodas FIRST remix went hard too.. Got a pair of those.. Still didnt get the new ones yet

…Eminem AJ4’s are the best on that list hands down. Yeezys are wiggity wiggity wack. All this time Kanye has delayed the sneakers to build up hype has actually made me lost what little interest I had for his kicks in the first place.
