Air Jordan 1 Blue Sapphire Update
Posted by Nick Engvall | Feb 4, 2009 We gave you a look at the upcoming “Blue Sapphire” in December, but like the Max Orange colorway, Jordan Brand has flipped the script on us.
The Air Jordan 1 Blue Sapphire Update has been switched from a nylon upper, into a shiny patent finish. Taking the opposite direction the Max Orange colorway did. The colorway still looks fresh even after the material change. Besides the Jordan 1 silhouette is just timeless no matter what color it comes in. Which looks better, patent or nylon on this Blue Sapphire colorway? Via kenlu. |

yah know people who say things like i’am cop them cause there jordans are helplessly coxed into buying garbage! don’t get it twisted i like jordans just as much as anybody and have quite bought 2 pairs of most of them so it’s not the doe! Yea leave patent to bapes or something it doesnt look good at all..imagine the creasing..yea and there all blue if they make these nylon again ill cop..and ill just put in some white metal tip laces..but they should at least make the check white or somthing to much blue..i live around alotta bloods but its cool i can hold my own lol

Nylons and patten leather ugly, too much blue on it. Put a white Nike logo, white laces and white air Jordan sign and maybe it’ll look decent

to comment #51 i thought the same thing but the jordan 1 retros “infared” didnt change to max orange so there is little hope that its nylon (mad pissed not sure if im still copping)i wanted these ever since they came out but now its like r u f***ing kidding me…

The royal blue patent pops on these…i’m definately going to get a pair. People will complain now but this is one of those pairs that will be highly sought after in a few years (somewhat like the black/gold patent 1’s)

They should have stayed the same with the Infrareds and the Nylon Blue. Now, they both stank. Hopefully they’ll release those (Marcus Jordan) Illinois Retro 2’s.
