Air Jordan Fusion 9 “Powder Blue”

Last month, we received exclusive photos of an upcoming Air Jordan Fusion IV release, and the comment section was filled with love and hate for it; therefore, to bring out more love/hate for the Fusion series, we have now spotted an exclusive colorway of the soon-to-be-released Air Jordan Fusion 9.
It features a predominately white upper with a solid powder blue midsole. Other powder blue accents appear on the lacetag and tongue. The tongue and shoelaces are colored in black, while it is complimented by a white outsole. If you recall, the OG Air Jordan 9 Powder Blue is one of the few Jordan sneakers that never made it back as a retro (see Wish List). With that said, wouldn’t it be better to receive the retro before the fusion? Supposedly, the Air Jordan Fusion 9 “Powder Blue” will release some time in April 2009. Via Fatboykickz. |

WHAT A STEAMING, MASSIVE, HUGE PIECE OF SHIZ TEASE. I jumped for joy when I saw the words Air Jordan 9 Powder Blue, then I broke something after reading “Fushion”. Way to go JB, turn a classic into a joke.

They’re not as bad as the other fusions, but this is still a major buzzkill. They retro everything else anyway, why couldn’t they just retro the original look instead? They’re really trying to do TOO much just to get that paper.

1st i hated fusions im a retro person but real talk alot of ppl are hatin cuz they not the retro’s for the most part this the Air jordan 9’s the only thang different is thr air force botton O well im still coppin boyz gone be mad at the end wen they stop droppin fusion ppl gone wish they did cop at least one of every number just to have its a new time and age its time for change BUT hopefully JB will soon very very soon start back droppin Retro’s again

LOL @ the comments! With that said, Fusions = Trash. Even if these resemble the original Jordan its meant to pay homage to, I still dislike it. Im not a purist or anything, but I dont want 2 c classics interfered with unless it is done 2 modernise them with 2day’s tech and performance standards. Fusions are some Frankensneaker Crap, especially when they’re combining shoes from diffrnt lines. At least da Spiz’ikes take da best elements frm da best retro Js, but Fusions man, I dont want any part of ‘em.
