Air Jordan Fusion 9 “Charcoal”
Posted by George Kiel III | Feb 19, 2009 Two days ago, we showed you exclusive photos of a soon-to-be-released Air Jordan Fusion 9 inspired by the classic Air Jordan 9 “Powder Blue”. Many of you stated that JB should just stop creating Fusions, however, could this Air Jordan Fusion 9 “Charcoal” change your mind?
Inspired by the classic Air Jordan IX “Charcoal” (one of our staff member’s first Jordan sneakers), this Fusion 9 features a predominately black/charcoal upper with red accents placed on the lacetag, tongue and inner lining. The Jumpman logo is also stitched in red on the heel. The tongue and shoelaces are colored in black, while it is complimented by a black midsole and charcoal outsole. If you recall, the OG Air Jordan 9 Charcoal is one of the few Jordan sneakers that never made it back as a retro (see Wish List). Supposedly, this sneaker will release some time in May 2009. I think yall should keep coming out with different colors and styles. Because in St.louis almost everyone is trying to get a pair of any of these shoes I myself have three and will be getting the charcoal when they come out. These shoes are shoes that everyone will be buying for a while why stop making them. So who ever came up with the idea that they need to stopped being made go suck something you stupid for that.

Once I saw they were releasing fusion 9s I figured this would happen. I quit messing with fusions after the 5s but looks like I’m back. Truly the best of both worlds……..

They had better bring back both colors for these retro 9’s…any OG colorway is bangin’ like Voltron. JB keeps dropping them because people keep buying them, simple as that. The majority of the sneaker buying public does not frequent these types of sites so your words fall on deaf ears. It’s about accessiblity. Most people can’t get OGs and aren’t standing in line for Retro re-drops. So they take what they can pick up at Foot Action/Footlocker, etc. JB knows this and will continue to rake the money in as long as it stays profitable. Wouldn’t you?

I think these are by far the best colorway and looking fusions..I dont mess with Fusions, although I buy them for my 6yr old..but these will be the closest to some BRED 9’s thats for sure! JB isnt going to stop making (MASHUPS) of sneakers because they are BORED will always dropping retros..LOL
