DC x Miami Ink 2009 Spring Footwear
Posted by George Kiel III | Feb 4, 2009 DC Shoes has collaborated with many other companies over the years such as Subaru Rally Team and New Era. While we have seen some nice compilation projects from them, none have been as vivid and eye-catching as its latest collaboration with Miami Ink.
Darren Brass of Miami Ink has joined DC to create footwear lineup and apparel set to release in Spring 2009. Sneaker-wise, the two sides have come up with a a four sneakers - two for the men and two for the women. As for the womens’ sneakers, the “Grapes of Wrath” sneaker (left) features grape designs on the side panels and toe box. The rest of the shoe portrays a cork-like design overlay and purple suede. The “Peach Basket” (right) contains a peach fuzz suede on the side panels, toe box and ankle area. There is also a peach basket-like design throughout the rest of the sneaker.
