It had to start somewhere didn’t it?! The Nike Air Max Penny was when Penny and I got to kick things off. My man and Shaq took care of business until that punk MJ came around and ruined our run in the Eastern Conference Finals. What a chump! The Penny I is represented on my shoe in a number of ways. Even a blind man can see that the swoosh and midsole foam inspired the shape on the upper. The first Penny also gets represented with the laces, tongue, and on the sole. Check the pics out below!

The top of the tongue came from the Air Penny II, but make no mistake that the Penny I is what inspired the tongue and pattern on the boot. More pics below!

Finally gave in and paid 250 for em. Didn’t want to pay the same that i paid for the eggplants but i couldn’t find em anywhere for any cheaper. I just wanted the royal blue ones and now im done with the penny line. thank goodness cuz i have tons of nike’s and j’s and i’ve never had to pay this much for a pair of kicks thanks to nike not putting hardly any of em out.

The shoe looks good, but for 190 you would think that the quality would be better. Take a close look at your shoes and I am sure you will see that there is glue all over the shoe.

These go soooooo hard…especially with a gino green global shirt(blue one)…i remember when these released when i was little because me and and my mom, my brother, my uncle jon, and aunt barbara were walking in the mall and we had passed footlocker. I had to pee real bad..but after i went to the bathroom i ran in footlocker and stared at the shoe for like 9 minutes. While i was holding the shoe my life flashed before my eyes. Then my aunt barbara called me over so we could go to the foodcourt. we had mcdonalds. i had 10 nuggets and a fry with a coke and a smile. after eating mcdonalds we had went across the street to best buy to look at tv’s. best buy had this REAL NICE tv for like $1500. omg i wanted that soooo bad but my dad refused to buy it cuz we already had one. then i begged my uncle jon if i could pllllzzzzzzzzz copp the pennys. he said he would think about it. we went home that nite and on the way home we picked up some ice cream from dairy queen. i got a blizzard.yummmmy! then i went to bed shortly after i got home. i had a BADDDDD dream that nite. i had a dream of this monster chasing me in my own home! i almost shYt myself! the next morning my dad finally took me to the mall so i could cop the pennys. when we were at the register about to pay i saw these other shoes that were only $19.95 and i had to cop. i dont even know what brand they were to this day but oh welllll. but anyway, enough about me..these shytz go hard!!

WOW good review that shows detail of both Penny1 n 1/2 cent.
Eventhough I’m anti Hybrid person, i see why ppl going nuts for this.
I agree that 1/2cent is one of the best hybrids i’ve seen from Nike. (Air Max 90 with Free 5.0 cushion is nice combination)
Nicekicks don’t make me buy it! I’m broke! HAHAHA.
I’m still very upset about not being able to buy the Foamposite Eggplant. Just waiting on Air Penny 3 blue.
I’m very worry about the HYPE that’s been rising on Penny shoe.
In long run, hope Penny shoes dont become like JB..
