Jordan PHLY Hi “A Tribe Called Quest”

Jordan PHLY Hi A Tribe Called QuestFresh off of the heels of the A Tribe Called Quest-inspired Air Jordan 1 release a couple of weekends ago, Jordan Brand is back at it again with the aforementioned hip hop group’s inspirations. Many of you really liked the Air Jordan 1, yet will you have the same opinion on a lesser-known sneaker?

Here is your first look at the A Tribe Called Quest inspired Jordan PHLY Hi. Similar to the Air Jordan 1, this sneaker features the red, black and green colorway that is inspired by the group’s 1993 Midnight Marauders album. It contains a predominately black upper with the red and green design seen throughout the side panels. The Jumpman logo, seen on the tongue, is also stitched in green, while the trim on the tongue is red. No word on a release date yet. What is your thought on this one? Via NT.

wow you must be really high off some really good weed

They need to go back to the drawing board with this…I would expect an ATCQ/JORDAN inspired shoe to be on the same level as the De La Dunks, but the designer failed miserably. What a let down…they could of played it safe and bit De La’s hologram style and put Tribe’s album cover but no instead they put apartment carpet on the side of the shoe with random green and red lines. So sad….

  3. INFAMOUSDEADSTOCK

from someone who is not really a jordan brand fan, i actually like these. although these are in the same lane as the blazers, these is somewhat an original design for jordan brand rather than mix/mashup of existing designs in ridonkulous color ways

  10. sawko & burroughs

#4 if you realy knew what you were talking about you would know that these are a remake of the tester jordans to see how good jordan would do out on the market
