In recent years, the NBA All-Star Weekend has become the ultimate showcase for basketball sneakers, this year will be no different. We’ve already seen a number of exclusives, and can expect to see some surprises as well. Over the years a number of memorable kicks have made appearances at the All-Star festivities. One of the fan favorites, the Rookie Game has become just as packed with heat as the All-Star game itself. Of course, who can forget the Slam Dunk contests of the past, where shoes have at times become as much a part of the focus as the slam dunks themselves. All Star Kicks - Hakeem Olajuwon Spalding “Hakeem the Dream” - Shaquille O’Neal Reebok Shaqnosis
Hakeem Olajuwan stepped away from the norm of $100 plus kicks and into some affordable Spalding “Hakeem The Dream” signature sneakers back in 1996. On court he went head to head with Shaq’s Reebok Shaqnosis.

It’s about time that Nicekicks shone some light on the Nike Air Unlimited from 1994 that David Robinson wore. Those were some seriously fly shoes made with some high quality materials. I had that same colour and I broke necks in them, there was also a black and blue suede version that was really sweet too. I’m glad I’m gonna get another chance to own the AJ3 True Blues and can’t wait for them. I want some more news on the AJ6 Gatorade release though.

man I actually passed on a chance to buy that 96′ allstar jersey Jordan wore back in the day. It went on sale for real cheap after the allstar game and nobody wanted to get it because the game had already passed…. SMH

You forgot to mention Shaq’s remote controlled shoes that he drove around in the locker room a couple years back - think it was in 2005 or something.

THOSE AIR MAESTROS SCOTTIE PIPPEN ROCKED WERE THE TRUTH. IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYONE/ANY PLACE WITH THOSE HIT ME UP AT godsent82@yspace. those white/carolina xi were and still are the best patent leather jordans. i gave mine away back in the day for a glock-40. i still got the pistol but i would rather have the kicks.

g1phone - Air Unlimiteds and Carnivore’s are very similar, and from the same year, but the Carnivore’s have a large strap that runs right across the midfoot. The Unlimited’s wrap more angled upward towards the ankle.
