Posted by Nick Engvall | Mar 17, 2009 Love and hate are somehow lacking in describing how people feel about the Air Jordan 2009. Passionately one way or the other is more like it. We’ve seen quite a few AJ 2009 PE’s in our Kicks On Court series, but noticeably absent has been Team Jordan member Carmelo Anthony.
Air Jordan 2009 Carmelo Anthony PE features a simple white and light blue make-up to go with his Denver Nuggets team colors. Melo’s number 15 is applied to the tongue as well. The blown-glass like midsole somehow really pops on this colorway despite being two relatively light colors. Melo hasn’t been spotted on court with them, but you can bet with a little time he will be. Via NikeTalk. |

These are HIGH HEELS, the design is so wack. An elementary student can come up with better shoes than this HIGH HEEL!!! LOL!

I’ve seen the 2k9 with my own eyes and I can tell you it’s a impressive pease of work I saw. You can’t compare them with some pics on the internet.

This is the best color. To bad it won’t come out. The only time I would wear the 2K9’s would be on the court. I would not wear them for casual wear. But I bet their real comfortable though.

NO COLORWAY PF THESE WILL LOOK GOOD TO ME BUT ID LOVE TO SEE A MOTORSPORT COLORWAY/ THOSE ONES THAT DROPPED IN FEB STILL HAVE FULL SIZE RUNS=THAT HAS TO BE A FIRST FOR JORDAN

If they woulda left the “shox” heel off the 2k9 and just gave it a normal bottom they definately would be worthy of being a numbered jordan. they could have been the nicest jordan since after the 13’s. theres satin on em people!! am i the only person who thinks thats sick.

Looking at the 2009, I realize now that these are a melding of the 14’s, 15’s and maybe even a little bit of the 11’s. Big ups to #17 on the insight there

This Colorway is hot. I wasn’t a big fan of the 2k9 until i tried a pair on. This shoe is one of the most comfortable ever and it looks good weather ballin or chillin. to me the picture don’t do em justice. But to me they aint 190 tight, come down on the price and i would definitely grab em.

I think ppl are making the the AJ 2009 worse than they really are … do the shoes got street appeal … prob not so that’s where all the hate is coming in. I don’t think the shoe is *all* that bad, but sure aint worth no damn $190. JB can eat one for that cost, esp since most kats wear their AJ kicks for the street and not the court.
Like the colorway, tho.

Me personally…I feel like the 2009 within itself is a fusion, bottom look like the 15… sides the 14’s, I just think this would have been something JB would have released as the 24’s, which would have been a contradiction of the statement that there would be no more Jordan series released after the XXIII’s( which are classics) I am excited that Jordan is trying new things, but saddened by the amount of time its taking to perfect the looks they need to appeal to customers. Statment..Please quote me on this—”Everybody wanted Jordan to hav sons, so that our kids can have someone to carry on his legacy….I hope and pray that Tinker Hatfield and Gentry Humphrey have son that are designers.” If not we have no hope

No, its cuz the shoe is just butt. The best colorways so far are Sugar Ray’s All-Star and his black/green colorway. But I would like to see my Heels don these during the tourney!
