In our Kicks On Court: 2008-09 NCAA Tournament Recap, we showcased the Air Jordan 2009 California Golden Bears PE. Many of you thought California’s PE was one of the better colorways seen on this sneaker, however, check out the Air Jordan 2009 UNC PE! Similar to the Air Jordan 2009 Carmelo Anthony PE, this sneaker features a white/light blue color scheme. It contains a predominately white base with light blue accents on the side panels, sole, ankle area and tongue. To further identify it, the UNC logo is placed on the tongue. Although we have seen most of the UNC players wearing the Air Jordan 2.5 during the tournament, do not be surprised if they bring this sneaker out in the Final 4. Via shoemustgoon. |

i just noticed that these shoes look better from the inside view than the outside view of the shoe/ that big v on the outside kills the design. i got the all three pairs to release just to add to the collection ill proably only wear the ones that drop this saturday black/white;they look decent to me
my air jordan collection goes from 1-2009(24) does yours????????????????????????????????????

WOW! OUT OF 23 PEOPLE, 3 PEOPLE LIKE THIS SHOE. 23 HOW IRONIC IS THAT? WELL BEING #24…. I THINK ITS OK IN PERSON. THE PRICE TAG….. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! I ONLY SAW 1 PERSON IN THEM! NOT EVEN SCHOOL KIDS! IN MY OPINION THESE SHOULD HAVE A DRAMATIC PRICE DROP AND SOLD AT A PRICE TO HELP US IN THIS RECESSION. AT LEAST THAT WHAT JB CAN SAY TO PUSH THESE! I DONT THINK THEY ARE DOING TOO WELL. THIS BLOG PROVES IT!

Why doesn’t MJ just bring the heat when it comes to the colorways? I think the sneaker is one of the best, but the colorways… the colorways are horrible.
Because if this, Air Jordan 2009 is part of a REHABILITATION PROGRAM CALLED SAVE-A-SNEAKER.lol
Because hot sneakers with bad colorways need a chance… because ugly sneakers with great colorways need hope.
I swear, its getting real serious out there lmao
Colorways I want to see:
black and red (no red all over the place, just the bottom)
white and columbia blue (columbia blue just on the bottom)
Cool Grey
white and red
white and burgundy

would be nicer if the mid panel was just white instead of blue. i never hated on these. i think theyre a nice BASKETBALL sneaker. BASKETBALL as in to wear for playing BASKETBALL. not to be worn casually with jeans which is wat most people expect from jordan and is the reason why most people dont like new model jordans. but ill wait till they hit the outlets. too much dough to spend for playin basketball.

I wonder how it feels to be the man to be resposible for single handily plaguing the legacy of Jordan foot wear design and creating what has to be the most emabarrassing effort ever created and naming it after the greatest basketball player the sport has ever seen.

if it was Jordan 2009 and cheaper price, yes i would give a shot.
But Air Jordan 2009? wtf is that?
Plus Kobe and LeBron James are doing really good on the court right now.
And both of their signature shoes are WAY affordable price than AJ2009.
ONLY reason i can think of buying AJ 2009 is to complete my Air Jordan Collection.
Other than that, why should i bother? There are more reason behind buying series of AJ.

i was on the fence about the 2009’s but i copped the black and whites that come out on saturday last week and the are very comfortable and look clean. im not feeling the unc colors though. yall should give the 09’s a chance

I think the true ugliness of the 2009’s is shown with these. When it comes to the 2009’s, less color is better, in my opinion. I actually think the first colorway (black/white) is the best looking on the court, kind of the way the AJ2 high tops looked from a far.
