New Balance MT580 Feature
Posted by Nick Engvall | Mar 15, 2009|
The New Balance MT580 was originally created as a trail running shoe exclusively for Japan sneaker giant Mita. This silhouette has been a rare commodity here in the States until recently when New Balance decided to bring the MT580 to the US for full time duty. In order to prevent these kicks from feeling separation anxiety from their original home, New Balance sent them to Nice Kicks for a little photo-therapy in the studio. You can pick up the MT580, which is packed with ABZORB cushioning for comfort and ROLLBAR technology for heel stability, at retailers now for $90. Click here to check out how the photo session of the New Balance MT580 went. |

Can’t decide which to get, not a fan of the oval 580 badge but not that big if a deal, I wish it was more like the Japanese 580 cloth tag.

Shut up kid…what does white have to do with anything? I’m not white and three times your age, so what? If everybody else was yelling NB instead of NIKE, you’d be on it. Excuse me, your moms would be on it cuz I’m sure you aren’t paying for your kicks unless you hustlin’ already…then you really got a lesson to learn. I’ve been a fan of New Balance for almost fifteen years now and will be the first to admit that they can make a really nice, classy shoe (like pretty much all 580s), or will totally drop the ball (like those donkey hair 575s that are comin’ out). To each his own man. Now eat your vegetables and go to bed, you got school tomorrow.

“are ya ppl that comment this shoes white or just plain stupid!!!” - killo
Killo,
That is boarderline hate speak, son. Insert your own ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, or religion, and I am sure you would cry foul.
It’s 2009 kid. Wake the F up.

Both the purple and yellow accented colorways look extremely nice; the black is a little too bland for my taste. I wouldn’t mind picking up the purple colorway either, because $90 isn’t too much for some durable New Balances.

i think its navy blue but the last ones in that row are nice to wear with a plain tee, cargo shorts(beige) and a yankee fitted with the really bent brim to block the sun like a true yankee fan

^ These ones, no. At $90 retail, it would be pretty tough to make that shoe in the USA and turn a profit with all the pieces and panels on the upper.
I try to buy American as much as possible (partly why i have a ton of NB shoes), but I am happy to inject a few dollars into the economy for these.
Like Gottyâ„¢, I have both the neons and the purples.
