Posted by Nick Engvall | Mar 19, 2009 Nike Trainers seem to be making a big push this year, with that said, a couple new colorways of the Air Trainer Huarache are helping that movement as we speak.
The Nike Air Trainer Huarache features all the early 90’s iconic stylings from Nike. The huarache inner sock liner, the Velcro strap across the midfoot. The Stealth Grey colorway features Black and Sapphire Blue accents, while the Black make-up features white contrasting stitching and a yellow logo on the heel. I still have these in Grey, Bred and Black and Red…, these are good shoes, very comfortable.

I wore these in 1992/93. A well-manufactured shoe! Wore them in white/violet/green and am looking forward to finding them again, wearing them again. Gotta find out the size, though, since I have grown since then…

They need to retro the OG colorway all White with purple and green trim,(purple strap) those are still the hardest huaraches in my opinion, but those grey ones are nice.

man i bang wit huaraches hard, but i’m not feelin either of these at all. that white sole on the grey joints isnt a good look in my opinion, and the black ones just completely missed. the contrast stitching looks out of place.
hopefully they come out with some more colors cuz i need another pair of huaraches, my blk/red ones put in major work

You have to wear these joints to really appreciate them. They are so comfortable! I love Huarches! Actually all Huraches are comfy. This one kinda reminds me of the OG colorway w/o the blue tho.

the grey joints are fire. the black is cool. comment #7: the Huarache’s are fairly comfortable regardless what the sole looks like i had the og’s and the retro’s. the grey are a def cop

both are nice colorway, but are they that comfy?? the sole looks somewhat weird with that thick part in the middle part of the shoe, and also I think the velcro strap won’t be that durable considering the net-like material that looks rather flimsy
