Air Jordan 2009 Black/Varsity Red-Stealth

This Saturday a more traditional colorway of the Air Jordan 2009 will be hitting retailers. Though the official Black/Varsity Red-Stealth colorway may not describe the colorway properly at first glance, this black and white 2K9 is more “Chicago Bulls” then any previous colorways. I could definitely see MJ ballin’ in these if he was still in the league. Click here to let the Love/Hate begin.

There’s something about the sole of the shoe…I can’t put my finger on it…Maybe I just don’t like it…Maybe it’ll grow on me?…Who knows!
Not sure what the V and that diamond symbol is all about?…So many things you could of done to the shoe and they ended up with this?
All they missing on that shoe right now is some spikes, just turn it into some cleats and put me out of my misery.
Don’t know whats going on with the designers…But y’all seriously need to get your shyt together.

I agree with sneakerpeak. It’s just like a car soonier or later your going have to upgrade for a newier model. I personally think if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! I’m not feeling the 2009’s at all and wish they would come out with more AJ 1-16. No matter what JB puts out there (OG- Retros) they’re gonna be a buzz and will sell out. We do need to except that MJ is not coming back and Air Jordan’s will never be the same. Boy, do I miss the good ol’e days! Go UNC!!

I can’t beleive this these N.B.A players make millions of dollars and there shoe are garbage like lebron, Kobe , CP3, JORDANS . Please stop selling us these trash kicks I bet you they don’t wear them after the Game . I personaly think foamposite pro , flight posite , TL posite . I don’t hate the shoe, I hate the colorway…

Bring Back Tinker Hatfield! Please!!! Fire Jason Mayden! These are growing a lil on me, especially with the other colorway comin, but still, horrible!!! Don’t Even Look Like Jordans Anymore!!! Look like a pair of reeboks, and not the nice ones either (yes, there are some nice reeboks, just not many)!!! Step it up JB!!!

u gotta accept that jordan is changing it’s styles and performance cuz it’s already 2009. i dont hate y’all who love 1-16 or even upto 23, but just accept that jordan brand is “UPGRADING”. y’all may think this is crazy but you can’t stop them from creating shoes that are “out of norms”.. it’s 2009 so y’all need to grow up. i got retros and OGs too but seeing JB evolve, it is kinda good too.
and also, there are alot of good retros comin out so just be happy instead.

I just held these in my hand and they are hot!!!!! like a lot of Jordans they look funny at 1st but then when you rock them with so good gear your like damn these are hot…..maybe the price is high and they will come down but im telling you guys dont sleep on these.But for now it’s about Lebron James BABY!!!!!!!!!!

i gotta agree with dude above me. the 2k9 is amazin. the whole sneaker is designed around that diamond shape, that marble ish on the midsole, the side panels.. I wouldnt wear it with pants or nothin, but its designed to perfection. The only thing is the shiny leather, not really into that..

The 2009 is Dope!!!! and if you can’t affort it beacuse of the price,well go and coop other sneakers..the same old 3,4,5,6,7…don’t get me wrong i’m a Jordan Head i got over 80 pairs from 1-23/DubZeros,6 rings,Spikz and others…But this 2k9 is way better that some J’s from the past.The tecnology and performance is over the limits and it looks FIRE!!!!

You are so correct, my friend…! These are terrible, and every J after the 16s were awful too, unfortunately I own every pair after the 16s, but oh well… I just don’t see Jordan Brand lasting much longer. To me, I think the only thing that’s keeping them in business are selling Retros or Packages or Limited Js. But this is the first and only time that an Air Jordan shoe did not catch my eye. Blame it on the designer or what not, maybe the Jordan line has been dragged out for far too long, I don’t know.
But they have got to be running out of ideas…! I am not holding my breath for the 2010…!

not enough red, this colorway is terrible… The Air Jordan 2009 is so yesterday’s news now, with Griffeys and more Retros coming out later in the year, these 2009s are so over for me already…
It was a failure from the get-go, especially with the first release of the Black and Gold that was limited to 2009 pairs… SMH, JB…!
