The Yeezy’s are cool but definitely over priced for wut they are offering. ONE pair jordans aren’t even $215 and Jordan is a well established shoe and has a big following. Honestly tho, the most anticipated shoe of 2009 to me are the Space Jam retro’s….HANDS DOWN!!

Yooooo…I’ve loved the Yeezy’s from the first time I saw them on Kanye’s feet! That being said, the hype around these kicks has been ridiculous. I couldn’t buy a pair from this spot in DC on Saturday morning…not because they were sold out or the price was ridiculous, but because they were trying to pump them up even more with a f***ing raffle! When can dudes who love sneakers just buy sneakers?
Oh yeah, the video was straight (though just more hype fuel).

St Alfred did i big with this one. I talked to krabby and he said they’re gonna do something nobody would think of the next release, lips are tight though. I’m still gonna get mines from Nike town thought cuz I’m not paying over retail for any new release.

hey it must be just me then but these are dope….im just hatin on all those who could afford the “solid investment”….being in college i just cant wing $300 on a pair of kicks …..im gonna save up for the tan ones tho cuz they drop on my birthday…and will lick myself everytime i see a pair of the grays

I”m wit jumpaholic, I myself dissed a lot of J’s back in the 90’s and now I own them all. Give you 10 yearas and all you haters will realize you missed out on one of the most momumental releases in pop culture and sneaker culture since ever… not to mention that resale is gone be REDICULOUS! IF it was a jay z nike you wouldnt trip.. dont stunt now.

i cant figure out for the life of me since when has hype been a bad thing?!? if people are hyped for sumthing is that good,lebron had plenty of hype coming outta high school…… i was hyped for all the retro js that came out, i think that the yeezy is actually a breath of fresh air, in the shoe game its been time for somthin different…..i mean retro js are jus jordans being resold/reissued so y should they deserve hype…..coming from a long time jordan fan…..

I REMEMBER PEOPLE SAYING THE SAME THING ABOUT THE ROYAL BLUE FOAMS AND SOME J’S BACK IN THE DAY. IT BREAKS A LOT OF PEOPLES HEARTS TO SEE THIS SHOE COME OUT AND IN ONE DAY COST MORE THAN THE FOAMS AND A TON OF OG AND RETRO JORDANS.
I GUESS IT’S OK TO RIDE JORDAN’S NUTS AND NOT KANYE’S. I DON’T GET IT PEOPLE?????

the yeezys are way too over hyped , the only thing thats good about the shoe is the air jordan 3 tooling and that they are desiged by kanye plus they look like some king of space boot way to ugly… and they cost $215 i rather buy some of those griffeys or air max 95 or some of the aj retros that coming .

i think kanye is a beast as an artist and truly is a visionary…but i really really dont see how dese shoes can get so much hype…i wont lie nd say i dont like em…but if i had a choice between dese and any aj 11 or 12 release dis yr…id pick mikes over nikes anyday

I still dont understand where the hype is coming from. What validates so much hype for this shoe. It’s not attractive in anyway, all the colorways so far involve pink, sorry guys but that bright pink is nowhere to be found in my wardrobe and won’t be. Jordan’s have the following from the man himself and what he did IN the shoe. A rap/autotune artist (and i am a fan) does not warrant a shoe let alone a shoe people are lininv up for. If Lil Wayne dropped a Nike would cats be sweatin those too?

Like seriously I cant even wait until ALL the hype behind this shoe is gone. I dont even think like ONE shoe in the past 15-20 Years has recieved this much Hype. Its just so much it’s just so DISGUSTING. Makes me sick…. >:-(
