DC x Lemar and Dauley Xander Double Label Project

DC Shoes has a rich history of nice collaborations with Brooklyn clothing company Lemar & Dauley, namely the Admiral. On May 1st, both sides will be dropping their third collaboration in the form of the DC x Lemar and Dauley Xander. This particular joint effort was inspired by the sport of tennis and the equipment used for the sport, namely the racket. The Xander uses a specific mesh material on the side panels and tongue in representation of the intertwined strings used within the racket. In addition, the clear sole is inspired by the nylon materials used to make the cords. Other features include leather trims around the edges reminding some of the leather taping around the racket and an abstracted graphic of the playing field pictured on the insoles. Both colorways will hit DC LIFE retailers on May 1st. |
