LIVESTRONG Nike LunaRacer and Lunar Everyday
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Apr 7, 2009
Lance may have suffered an unfortunate injury last month, but in no way will this slow down his committed efforts along with Nike to raise awareness and money for the war against cancer. This Saturday, April 11th, Nike Sportswear will release two LIVESTRONG makeups of the LunaRacer and Lunar Everyday to select doors including Nike Sportswear at the 21 Mercer in NYC and The Montalbán in LA.
The Nike LunaRacer brings together two technologies – Flywire and Lunarlite foam – designed for today’s best athletes, creating a distance running shoe that is lighter, stronger, and faster than anything Nike has previously created in the distance running category. To add to the Nike LunaRacer shoe’s lightweight Flywire upper the Nike Innovation Kitchen developed Lunarlite foam, both lightweight and highly responsive, two qualities, which are usually mutually exclusive in cushioning.
Designed with a Lunar bottom and a Nike Free Everyday upper, The Nike Lunar Everyday combines two of Nike’s most innovative technologies. The Nike Lunar Everyday is a well-cushioned everyday running shoe for longer runs, offering a great ride. The breathable upper mesh of the Nike Lunar Everyday is reinforced with synthetic overlays to add maximum support. No-sew tip construction provides less irritation. Internal heel counter and plush foam package deliver maximum comfort. Utilizing the innovation of Lunarlite foam, the shoe helps protects the foot on long distance runs, distributing the pressure patterns more evenly across the foot.

OMG!!! I almost pissed myself laughing so hard at Kid Nova 27’s comment. But 4 real, deez r SUPER HOT shoes. I prefer the “everyday” version just b/c there is more cushioning than the race version.

I don’t think any of these comments have anything to do with how great the shoes perform. The Lunaracer is a great running shoe. Forget the looks, when you are a real runner, you go for performance in a shoe, and these shoes perform…..

jtillard, you must be some fat HYPEBEAST. I know it, I can smell you fat out of shape collectors with extra wide feet from a mile away.
Of course you would think this is trash you probably haven’t run a mile in your life.
These are PERFORMANCE shoes and all proceeds go to the LIVESTRONG foundation which funds CANCER research.
These are shoes for a good cause, what the hell have you done for humanity?
Dumb fat HYPEBEAST.

these are straight trash to me.i wouldn’t cop if they were the last shoes on earth being sold

The LUNAR RACERS are straight SICK. It’s a must to cop a pair of these. From what I’ve heard these are some of the best running shoes ever made by nike. They look nothing like those nasty kobe shoes. The only thing they have in common is the flywire. This shoe by far is lighter and better than that junk.

I kind of see why they would look like the Ko-B’s, only if you take a quick glance at them. But if you happen to look at them for more than a second you can tell right away! These are some nice Shoes!

Apr 7, 2009 at 2:59 pm
“look like knock off zoom kobes”?? In what way, B Jizzle? I don’t see it…I have the grey/volt LunaRacers and they are great. They’re sexy, comfortable and go with just about everything.

those lunar racers are so sexy… I need to cop a pair. Without intention I already own 3 pairs of racers.
