Nike Air Max 1 Livestrong “Stages” Collection
Posted by George Kiel III | Apr 16, 2009 This past weekend, Nike Sportswear released the Nike LunaRacer and the Nike Everyday as part of the Lance Armstrong x Nike “Stages” Collection. Thanks to Daily Drop, we are now starting to spot the Nike Air Max 1 involved in this collection at select retailers.
Similar to every sneaker in the “Stages” Collection, this Nike Air Max 1 contains a predominately black upper with yellow accents on the swoosh, eyelets, toe area and outsole. The base itself is made of leather (side panels) mesh (toe box, ankle area) and suede (heel panel). To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a black/yellow speckled midsole. Like the mesh toebox and love the speckled soles. Besides that, it’s ok, nothing to go crazy for. I generally prefer my AM1s with more white or lighter colours, but that’s just me.
