Air Jordan Flight 45

The Air Jordan Flight 45 seems to find the right balance of both. The styling is definitely new to the Jordan lineup, yet the colorway and the elephant print is still classic Jordan. The sole is reminiscent of the Jordan 3, and the strap across the upper though it may be a retro-like, is all 2009. What do you think of these kicks? What if they came with a Swoosh and were released in the early 90’s? |

ive never owned a pair of low/mid top shoes and these are great for b-ball but dont look good in jeans and make my ankles hurt sometimes because its so easy to roll your ankle in them………(their very stiff and clunky)

i kinda like the royal blue and black ones, they’re okay…..been thinkin about copn em but $120 plus tax is not really appealing to my budget……maybe for 80 though….i need to listen to my inner-voice and walk past the shoe store, don’t even look in like soddom and gommorah turn to a pillar of salt if i look through the sneaker store window..ha

quite nice, they have kept the essence of the original jordans. I think if they had originally come out in 1992, and these were a re-issue release, people would be all over them.

you jordan fanatics are a fade away short of sickening me. these jordans are nice. the cp3 II ’s are nice, the first mellows were nice, and honestly all sneakers jordan released the first year jordan broke off as a solo brand from nike were ill (the vin baker’s, the air jordan trainer, jumpman pro). TRUE ENOUGH JB HAS RELEASED SOME HIDEOUS KICKS AS OF LATE BUT, THIS AIN’T THE 90?S ANYMORE. THE SNEAKER INDUSTRY IS DOMINATED BY LIFESTYLE KICKS AND OG’S NOW. Athletic kicks are not the business anymore. a funny thing happened in streetwear fashion trends…the shoes went futuristic but the clothes, ehhh not quite. i mean, try it. grab some dark wash paper denim jeans with a purple aqua and green hundreds tee and tell me which goes better, the aqua 8’s or the mardi gras cp II’s? you retro jordan fiends are split into to categories: the actual sneakerheads who appreciate the art and the era and the bandwagoners

Not the best jordan ive ever seen but with some concrete Starks Laces and some hard denims this is a fresh look, i hope they do go straight to outlets(not really) but this is not a bad shoe

I wouldn’t say retros aren’t coming back my friend. In 09 alone we are getting nubuck XII, true blue and white cement III, black and red plus white and red XII plus the Spacejam. Add in the Raging Bravo Toro Bull whatever pack and its a retro filled calendar!

It’s people who keep wanting JB to bring back Retro’s that ruin the new look that Jordan Brand wants to bring out. I love the retro’s too, but the more they keep coming out with different colorways, the more trashy they start to look. These IMO are a lot better than say the Fusions. It was an idea that JB thought would take off, and some of the designs did but most looked whack. So stop hating on everything that JB puts out, cuz Retro’s aint coming back.

To comment on the actual shoe though, the Flight 23 sold like crazy last year. I got a pair for every day chillin and they were real nice. I expect the same from these, just don’t like THIS colorway. A white/red based or cool grey/carolina blue/white like my 23’s would look good. Not too bad, but not amazing.

I co sign what golden griffin said these so called sneakerhead are cats who have never played the game these sneakers were intended for yet they comment so vehmently. Never have they played ball from sun up to sun down in these very kicks they chatter incessantly about. Decent. Its good to see that JB understand proportions a bit better on this silhouette. I would like to see a bit more color pop and is the strap functional?? I know, I know (it is) but I also know that the strap on the fusion VIs was functional too, if your ankles are the size of a quarter ( leave some room for the strap to do something).

these look almost like the air trainer but the strap is on the top not near the bottom, but yeah jordan has a really hard time trying to please everyone who loves the retros, i understand because i love the retros more than anything but when it comes to desing quality and craftsmanship in the jordan line all of their shoes keep up with the brand, its hard to say anything bad about these shoes just because they are by the same people that brought you the entire jordan line and i cant disrespect that

Remember what happened in 07 on the 25th anniversary for af1’s when they released too many in one go and it overwhelmed. Can’t expect them to release retro’s all the time. I know some people are still trying to get the countdown packs. But one thing is that whatever retro you want will release down the line some time.
These are ok, nothing special.
