Air Jordan Fusion 4 Black/Cement Grey-Fire Red

At the beginning of the year, we showed you multiple photos of what was supposed to be the official Air Jordan Fusion 4 “Bred” colorway. However, we are now finding out that the previous photos were only samples. With that said, check out the final version of the Air Jordan Fusion 4 Black/Cement Grey-Fire Red. Reminiscent to the OG Air Jordan 4, this sneaker features a 100% black nubuck upper with minimal fire red accents throughout the base. The biggest difference from the sample to the finished product is the sole. As opposed to the leather wrapped midsole seen on the sample, this sneaker will now contain a translucent midsole and a red/grey outsole. JB also kept the infamous TPU wings first seen on the Air Jordan IV. The Air Jordan Fusion 4 “Bred” will hit retailers in mid-September, however, if you cannot wait until then, pick them up now at Marquee Sole for $179. Click here to view more photos. |

idk man……the sole DOES kills me. I feel like a Jordan Retro is unique in many different ways…..to cobine that with a thick @5s force sole is really idiotic….and they deff dont look like the Og’s… they resemble them…..why? because they’re fusion lol get it together. if they came out in a terquoise white and black colorway i would def cop them, they aren’t 2 bad but i am partial to the toe box as it resembles to much of the original air force 1. as many people know some chinese companies started to produced the ajf4 about 2 years ago and these look exactly like them. overall i rate them a 7 out of 10. they need more colorways.

If Nike released shoes just for us sneaker heads, they would go bankrupt! they need to sell shoes to everyone else. What im trying to say is that yea, we know about the history of all kinds of shoes and the OG’s and how great they are, but its not what most people care about. they look to buy some nice kicks and nobody can say these are ugly. They’re some nice shoes!!! Don’t HATE just cuz its another pair of Fusions. ROCK EM!!! and like “Thadude” said, Keep the OG’s on ICE BABY!!!!!! haha

I’m an older Jordan fan. I mean from the 80’s older. I remember when I saw my first pair of Jordans. The were the II’s made in Italy. I was so excited and wanted a pair immediately. Of course having 2 brothers it wasn’t going to happen.
What I am getting at is this, let the new generation (or even some older) have their memories. When it’s all said and done they are just shoes. If you like them buy them if you don’t then pass.
It’s funny to hear that so and so isn’t a real sneakerhead or Jordan shoe fan because they wear fusions or whatever.
That’s ridiculous. Because when you look back on things when you get to be my age, you will find that such an argument was a waste of time.

I COMPLETELY agree with Window. Dudes bash shoes to look like true sneaker heads. The only difference is the sole and they call them “trash”. If the sole makes the shoes trash, the style was always trash to begin with. If Nike only re-released AJs, people would complain that Nike is living off the past.
Many people don’t know that Nike doesn’t care about any of these sneakers because the bulk of their profits DO NOT come from selling sneakers in the U.S. If they did, they would just stock stores with styles that sell instead of doing limited releases and things of that sort. They make more money (believe it or not) selling tees in Europe.
What does that mean? They don’t care what you wannabes think. They are going to do what they want. Get over it or start your own shoe company.

I can’t even call it…the shoe is nice but that nubuck suede makes the shoe look like somebody can easily step on tha shoe.
futhermore,i had a pair of retro 18 with the same nubuck suede on tha shoe…
u know how hard that is 2 keep clean? but i’ll have 2 see if i get these….i like the other white/red/blk
and the white/cement though..

icy soles are normally amazing, but it doesnt fit that well with this colorway. overall though, i love this show, and most other fusions, i dont know whats the problem with them

Everybody hatin’ on the fusion’s but when Kanye comes out wit some new ish everyone gives him props for “comin up wit somethin new” or “thinkin outside the box”… SMH, people make me laugh man! Yeah these aren’t as hot as the og 4’s OBVIOUSLY, and that’s not that point! But, when you take a Nike ALL-TIME classic, the forces and mix ‘em wit a pair of J’s what is everyone so mad for?! 2 classic shoes in one… the idea is there, and these hit a homerun! Nike/JB has a business sense, you can’t retro sh*t forever and remain successful, you need new ideas! Simply put these are fresh! Next time you guys go out to the mall, or wherever you go look how many dudes and chicks are rockin’ fusions! And for the record, I’m not a huge fan of fusions I feel like they always seem to be released 3 weeks before they are perfected, but these are straight!

Not too bad. I mean, they’re fusions, but really…just get over it, it’s not going to stop. The shoe doesn’t look that bad on it’s own if you look past it’s heritage.. It is unfortunate that you guys have to deal with dumbed-down fashion shoes from the 90s, but at the same time you and your peers are the ones that let it happen, continuing to buy out releases that were becoming increasingly questionable. This is the result. It will go further because people will support it. Because Nike can do no wrong. Because on this site non-Nike shoes only get halfhearted support at best, except in rare cases.

To be straight, I don’t condone, support or agree with fusions. Dubz, Spizike’, different, I’m purely on Jordan AF1 fusions. I will say though, of them all, from a visual standpoint, the 4’s are the best, by a mile! I actually like the Mars Fusion better than the OG release. However I should go shoot myself for admitting that.
