We know plenty of you slept on the retro of the Olive AJ9 that dropped back in 2002, so this Air Jordan Fusion 9 “Olive” should be a welcome addition for many. The price of playing catch-up is steep though, these kicks will release as a Quickstrike, so you’ll be looking at a $175 price tag. Are these worth the high price tag? |

Another question I have. What constitutes “kids” when you guys say that they’re the only ones buying Fusions? Cuz these days, I see “kids”, usually high school and up, rocking Fusions, as well as grown-a$h men (meaning 27 and up) rocking them… People who hate on Fusions remind me kinda of TV parents who always start a conversation with, “Ya know… Back in MY day…” lol

While Fusions are a 50-50 love\hate thing with me, I do agree with the usual lineup of Fusion haters that they should drop an OG version of this colorway. Oh well…

I think the same CEOs who have the financial system in meltdown, got fired from Bear Sterns, AIG, GM, and other companies and evidently were hired by JB and Nike. I don’t think many will see buying these as “catch-up”, seeing as how its a fusion. Now, if they were to retro the IX Olive again…you might see some ketchup.
Of course…hopefully they’ll be re-releasing the other IX retro colorways after they’ve been bastardized as re-made fusions.
