Bodé x PUMA “Da Lizard”

Bodé created the iconic Lizard character in the 1950’s, initially appearing in 1963 and essentially gaining popularity ever since. PUMA honored Bodé in 2007 with the Cheech Wizard PUMA Clydes, and for 2009 they honor him again with the Da Lizard PUMA Mid. The Bodé x Puma “Da Lizard” will release in two colorways on May 16th. Blue and green colorways of the PUMA Mid have been creatively reworked with Da Lizard graphics, which have been placed on the insole, tongue and the uppers. A clear sole reveals the Bodé signature, which can also be seen next to the PUMA logo on the side panel. Yes I am Mark Bode I helped design these from my fathers art. Its cool that people are reacting to the shoes it shows its different from the more acceptable shoes that are out there. To tell ya the truth these shoes are art pieces and not designed to wear or at least thats my take . hence the butterflies and the over the top character presence …I will be putting mine away and not wearing them and sell them on ebay for big doe.. Thats what you do with these!!! peace Bode

I dont really care what the butterflies are about, just take them off the shoes. I could see a female rocking these but a dude wearing them is questionable. The greens would have been stank if they took off the graphics.

WOW THESE JOINTS AARE IMPRESSIVE SIMILAR TO THE EFFECT THE ORIGINAL STAR WAS SAGA HAS UPON THE CREATORS OF ABC’S HIT PRIMETIME TELEVISION SHOW, “LOST”. THAT FEELING YOU GET WHEN OUTSTANDING ARTISTIC INTEGRITY IS INTERSECTING WITH MONUMENTAL SHAPE AND FORM.
