Jordan 6 Rings “Hall of Fame”

It was stated in early April that Michael Jordan would be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame this September. In lieu of this great feat, Jordan Brand will supposedly release four sneakers inspired by Jordan’s Hall of Fame accomplishment. One of the four will be this exclusive colorway of the Jordan 6 Rings model. This particular shoe contains a mostly black base made up of patent leather and canvas. The entire upper also contains a white contrast stitching throughout the canvas section. Minimal red details appear on the Jumpman logo and the border of the tongue as well. Other features include the plethora of numbers on the midsole (in representation of various defining moments in Jordan’s career), black shoelaces and a grey outsole. the reason for the shoes that you mention: AJI because his first season/shoe=rookie of the year…AJ3=first mvp….6 rings= all his championships (duh)…..jordan 2009 the year he was inducted…..if you dont know this info you shouldnt give an opinion….key moments in his entire career that lead to the hall of fame not just the titles he has….

the pack will consit of the AJ1, AJ3, The 6rings, and the AJ2009……now WTF does any of those have to do with MJ making it to the HOF? The 1s and 3s i understand a little but even that makes no sense. what would make more sense is the AJ6, AJ7, AJ8, AJ12, AJ13, AJ14, you know the shoes he was wearing when he won his rings, in the CW he was wearing!!! simple as that!!

The problem is everyone measures every new jordan shoe against the retros. The retros are just that… the past. No current release is given a chance by any of you bloggers because the old kicks are stuck in your memory ( 9’s, 10’s, 11’s, 12’s) . These are pretty decent shoes and should be judged alone not against retros. Are they better than the retros? of course not. But who else is creating quality hoop shoes that are even as good these hybrids? Adidas? nope… reebok? nope…. And 1? yeah right. Go to your local footlocker or champs and look for your latest pair of Iversons, Garnetts, or Gil-Zero’s. Can’t find em. Consider the innovation that Jordan Brand is continually coming with before throwing hate at them just because they ain’t droppin’ retros on our heads every month. That’s what makes the retros so special is that they have quality cause they cant found every weekend… Its called exclusivity!…. Peace knuckleheads.

I’m NOT A FAN of Six Rings or dub zeros, I like Spiz’ikes. But I will say the least bad Six Rings are the flint greys and this here pales in comparison with the flints. This is kinda lame, easy pass.

Have not been a Frankenstein fan over the last couple years, but these do look good. Not going out and getting em, but for the 6 Rings, its one of the better put together models in this line.
