Kicks On Court: New Kobe IV’s in the Staples Center

Throughout the 2008-09 NBA Playoffs, we continue to see more and more of Kobe Bryant’s teammates sporting the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. Since the postseason began, our Kicks On Court has spotted at least seven Lakers wearing Bryant’s latest sneaker. Although there has been more than enough Kobe IV colorways, we spotted two more exclusives last night. In game 1 of the Denver Nuggets-Los Angeles Lakers series, Bryant himself laced up a fresh, new colorway of the Kobe IV. It contains the same Lakers inspired colorway (white/purple-yellow) as most of his PEs, yet it features a different twist as far as where the colors are placed on the shoe. Did he own the best colorway in the Staples Center? That is for you to decide! Movie Producer Spike Lee sported his own New York Knick version of the Kobe IV. We all know Spike Lee is a die-hard fan of the Knicks and Kobe Bryant. What better way to combine both? I’m not feeling Spike’s kicks, maybe it’s the gilligan way he’s rocking them. BTW, magazine votes can be bought ad24. Just because SLAM says its so doesn’t mean it’s so. I’m feeling the foamposites though.

This reminds me of Michael Jordan during the playoff when everyone is been hating him and his kicks for being a great player, now all this bunch of looser have been crying for his retro kicks and camping in line with their balls tied up just for his retro shoes. That’s the way it is and somehow you’ll be crying for Kobe’s retro. Let’s talk about championship!!!

Spike is representing for Kobe on the movie love and for the knicks on the team side. I respect that. As far as the colorway… Spike is 50, if he is rocking kobes to begin with, he gets a pass….

Looks like Spike has on the Navy Olympic Polo blazer. NICE TOUCH! I would have rocked some different kicks but…hey I am not a knicks fan. I did pull out a fresh pair of Lakers 86 Converse weapons to watch the game n tho. LA ALL DAY BABY!! Dip those chicken nuggets and some sauce and move on to challenge King James and his royal flunkees…lol

Nothing against Spike Lee or the Knicks but those kicks are pretty bad… They just seem too tacky… They look like a pair of some bad Nike ACGs… The type that’s on the clearance rack at Dr. Jays lol Btw the colorway Kobe has on looks pretty decent….
