Kicks On Court: Who Owns the Better Signature PE?

Carmelo Anthony and Kobe Bryant are engaged in an epic battle! In the first two games of the 2008-09 NBA Western Conference Finals both superstars have been nothing less than amazing. However, our Kicks On Court has also paid attention to sneaker battle seeing that they are two of only seven players in the NBA with their own signature shoe line. With that said, who owns the better signature playoff PE: Carmelo Anthony or Kobe Bryant? In game 2 of the Denver Nuggets-Los Angeles Lakers series, Carmelo Anthony laced up a White/Yellow version of his fifth signature shoe, the Jordan Melo M5. On the opposite side, Kobe Bryant laced up a White/Yellow-Purple colorway of his Nike Zom Kobe IV. If you recall, Bryant debuted this exact shoe in game 1 of this series. sasha is nike all the way, he’s never worn a foreign shoe… however, i think he is a disgrace to the kobe’s… he’s a token white guy and all he can do is shoot… kobe’s are made for a true baller…

kobes, pau wore the hyperma 1 game, hyperize are a nice shoe also….. wait a couple months until the hyperlites come out…. i think they will b a better shoe than hyperdunk…. just a personal opinion

Presumably the 7 sigs they are thinking of are Kobe, Lebron, KD, Melo, CP3, Wade, and Iverson. But this is of course false–there are a bunch of guys with sig lines from the Chinese shoe companies, like Artest, Kidd, and Baron Davis. And even if you don’t count the Chinese sigs, there are others, like Al and Jack’s Protege sigs…

Again with the WRONG information. Kobe’s shoes aren’t PEs, they are iDs, as the shoes have Nike iD tags. Sasha is wearing the POP IV’s NOT the Del Sol. The Del Sol is BLACK BASED!

I dont think all of the melo’s were trash but i do think his 5’s are ugly. I Dont like kobe’s Basketball shoe either it is too low i could settle for the black mamba colorway but I would never spend my money on them. I bet they are great on the court though.

Those Melos just have a terrible silhouette. TERRIBLE. I can’t even look at them in Foot Locker, let alone on Melo’s feet. Also surprised Gasol hasn’t moved to the Hyperize/Hypermax. Superstition?
