Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes Xander Remix

Earlier this month we saw the latest Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes collab, the Xander. Shinoda chose to apply some of his Japanese heritage to this latest makeup. “When I was young, some people were surprised to find out that I am half Japanese. Growing up, I always looked forward to celebrating each New Year’s Day with that side of my family. I love Japanese food and art, so I guess it’s no surprise that those things sometimes end up being a part of my work.” The proceeds from sales of the majority of his painted/drawn works go to the Michael K. Shinoda Endowed Scholarship, helping students at the Art Center College of Design in California. “I am happy to say that proceeds from my second Remix Series™ shoe are going towards the scholarship once again, Detailed shots after the jump. |

@Kule Crankypants: actually those are chinese words and its really ugly(only the chinese word, the shoes is awesome)
