New Balance CW996M Lineup
Posted by George Kiel III | May 8, 2009
Being the first New Balance sneaker to break the $100 price tab, one would expect New Balance to continue to shell out exclusive, stylish colorways on the CW996M. With that said, New Balance has just released an exclusive, three-sneaker lineup of this classic model. All three sneakers contain a combination of mesh, suede and metallic accents on the upper. However, the individual unique colorways are what separate this lineup from others. Color schemes include Black/Cherry, White/Menthol and White/Lemonade. Head over to Atmos and pick a pair up now. Click here to view detailed photos of each. |

1. These are actually women shoes.
2. Atmos is based in Japan, not China, hence you are actually reading Japanese and not Chinese
3. 8800 yen is about $90
4. Since the Japanese market is smaller than say, the US, the can afford to have crazier styles than the US. The bulk of the US market for NB’sis actual running shoes and not Lifestyle shoes. The US NB concentrates less on “funky styles” because its not a money maker.
However, once in a while NB US does put out some interesting shoes.
