Nike Big Nike “Wolverine”

In recent years, we have spotted a plethora of sneakers inspired by memorable box office movies (see Sneaker Geeks: 11 of the Best Movie Inspired Sneakers). With that said, it seems Nike will continue to use movies as inspiration to some of its classic sneakers. Check out this Nike Big Nike that draws inspiration from the recently released X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie. Obviously, the shoe itself is inspired by Wolverine’s uniform. It features a predominately yellow leather upper with multiple blue, black and red details throughout the base. Drawing inspiration from Wolverine’s most known asset (claws), the shoe possesses claw designs as if Wolverine ripped through the side panels himself. To finish it off, this Nike Big Nike “Wolverine” is complimented with a white midsole and blue outsole. Head on over to Proper and snag a pair for $100. |

I love wolverine… this silhouette and this colorway definitely do not do him justice. They tried to do too much with this one. These look like pikachu-inspired not wolverine. Stick with the sabertooth 95’s.

people saying stop with the fusions are f**king idiots.
this is what the jordan 1 was SUPPOSED to look like had Peter Moore met the deadline to make the Jordan 1. What was originally released as the Jordan 1 was not the finished design. The Dunk soon followed as what Peter had called “the final design” of the Jordan 1. This shoe right here was the shoe between the Jordan 1 and Dunk. NOT A FUSION.
The colorway is cool for kids for sure. I wish they had wolverine in his original orange/brown costume, or even is blue/yellow one in the movies. I was a bit dissappointed when they made him just a regular looking guy.

Had these joints dropped a few weeks ago or a few weeks later, I would have copped the Big Nikes. But no shoe is messing with my Raging Bull Pack Money, or my TK Society Money, or my Nike SB Blazer Money, or my Tan Yeezy money.
