Nike Vandal Low “Catch A Cab”
Posted by George Kiel III | May 26, 2009
Last weekend, we showed you the Nike Big Nike “Space City” which pays tribute to the city of Houston, Tx. Nike continues with its city tributes by creating this Nike Vandal Low “Catch A Cab”. This particular shoe draws inspiration from New York City’s unlimited usage of taxi cabs. It possesses a mainly white base with multiple taxi cab inspired features throughout the upper. In representation of most taxi cab’s color, this shoe contains yellow details in the form of a patent leather swoosh, yellow shoelaces and a yellow polka-dotted toe box. Continuing with the taxi tribute, this sneaker features the Black/White checkerboard pattern also seen on cabs. Also, one of the more interesting features spotted on this sneaker is the taxi cab fare guide featured on the insole. Look for the Nike Vandal Low “Catch A Cab” to drop at House of Hoops on June 19th, 2009. |
