After one release date change, the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 5 “Toro Bravo” Pack will finally hit retailers tomorrow, May 23rd, 2009 for $310. Who else has been impatiently awaiting this arrival? The two-sneaker pack, which includes two exclusive Air Jordan 5 colorways, is inspired by many of Michael Jordan’s accomplishments while playing in the Air Jordan V. The pack will be sold in a customized package which is inspired by the wooden gates that withholds a bull from escaping. I hate greedy buyers who get 2-3 pack: 1 to rock, 1 to stock and 1 to sell to cash in to put some $$$ back in your pockets… it’s your own fault for buying 3 packs to start with!!!

Here’s a newsflash… I am thinking that NO RECEIPTS were given cuz NIKE knows that the shoe buying business has turned into something ugly now… and it’s called RESELLING.
I truly believe it, now all you Ebay sellers are stuck with these packs if you bought multiple packs.
You buy them to make a quick buck and you overpriced them too. I am not surprised…

I FOUND OUT THAT ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS THAT THEY WERENT GIVING A RECEIPT WAS BECAUSE JB MESSED UP ON THE SIZES BUT THEY DIDNT WANT TO SPOT THE RELEASE…. OUT HERE IN LOS ANGELES I GOT A COUPLE PEOPLE WHO HAD 2 DIFFERENT SIZES IN THE SAME PACK.. HOPE EVERYONE CHECKED THERE STUFF BEFORE BUYING THEM.. I GLAD I DID!!

I went to the Nike Employee Store today and I tried these on, Some size 12.5’s and I wear 11s lol but that’s all they had there left. But they run REALLY small, In my opinion. They fit me pretty good. Still way to expensive right now with this economy.

Even if you rocked both pair at the same time the grape 5s will make more heads spin. Passed on both the Pack and the Griffeys. I wear a 13 and in my opinion the bigger the Griff gets the uglier it looks and they seem to run small. I will also pass on the 12s next weekend. I will get those red&white 12s at the end of the year though.
Nike doesn’t want any of those packs back. Something fishy about that - no returns, no refunds…. no discount, no everything!!! Very strange

the 3m black 5s in a size 10.5 did fit a lil bit tight i fixed the problem by switching out the in sole for a diffrent thiner one i got mine out of a pair of spzikies the feel 100 percent better red suede fit like butter baby love them looks great i also have the 21 red suede nib

THIS PACK WAS A HUGE FAILURE… i did cop 2 of them but as far as numbers and hype….too many pairs out there and not as many people as stores expected…HOH chicago had 286 and still had 250 by 11 am…..idk why…maybe its cuz they werent as limited as people though so they decided not to cop…but yeah i work for Footlocker corp. and they didnt give reciepts cuz theyre non refundable…they never did this before but whatever just sell them on ebay if you dont want them.

Their not giving any receipts b/c all sales are final. (you can not return them). So I guess the store you bought them from figured y give u a receipt if u can’t take them back???

^^^ I totally agree. I bought the Retro 1 ‘Hare’ and couldnt’ believe how poorly put together they were. I don’t even wear J’s these days because of the lack of QC I’ve been seeing lately. That is exactly why my money went to the Varsity Royal/Volt Griffey Max 1’s today. However, to each his own, so if you’re happy with your purpose, knock yourselves out. These shoes are hella sick. Lucky, woke up late and got to footlocker at 7, out here in San Jose; foolz were campin out I heard. I wa the last one in line; and luckily they had one 11.5 waitin for me. Got to give props to my homie at the Valley Fair Footlocker out here in San Jose, CA for lettin me know it was still worth driving out for when I called at 6:45.
I can’t believe foolz would be hatin on these.

I bought these but now I am having buyers remorse. I do like them and all and I think they are definaitly collectable, but that 340 could have went somewhere else… like getting 2 Space jams, one of those Poormans Converses and a pair of Supra’s… or a PS3, TICKETS TO SEE MY FAMILY, a new desk (WITH A HUTCH) for my room, a Flip HD camera, fancy new eye glasses from Sean John… man why do I have all of thse priorities???

These are over rated. The seude is garbage compairs to what’s in the pictures. Put it like this. They are made with low quality. Plus the suade bleeds. My boy got ‘em .. I don’t find them very intriguing .. I like the 3M’s , but the red ones are a bit too flashy for me , and my pockets are quite low as of now , but please believe i’m hoppin on the 12’s coming out .

To answer some questions…
-Yes they run fairly true to size
-Yes they have had problems with the reds bleeding, that’s why only the red ones are wrapped individually, be sure to spray with Foot Lockers Shoe Protector.
-Most Champs, Foot Lockers, and Foot Actions are getting them but very limited quantities.
-NO LAYAWAYS, NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
-If you think you can show up tomorrow morning and pick up a pair, you’re tripping, get out the lawn chairs, start camping now.
-And, finally, for all those on the fence about the red ones, I think they look better in person. Let them grow on you, but don’t sleep on this heat!
