The White/Black-University Blue colorway was officially the first Air Jordan Fusion 9 to hit hit retailers on April 11th, 2009. Now, a month later, the Air Jordan Fusion 9 Black/Varsity Red-Dark Charcoal is set to release tomorrow, May 9th, 2009. Inspired by the classic Air Jordan IX “Charcoal”, this Fusion 9 features a predominately black/charcoal upper with red accents placed on the lacetag, tongue and inner lining. The Jumpman logo is also stitched in red on the heel. The tongue and shoelaces are colored in black, while it is complimented by a black midsole and charcoal outsole. Although this model receives an abundance of hate, could this be the best of colorway of the Air Jordan Fusion 9?

I don’t care much for Fusions, but I think these look the best out of the Fusion 9. I wish they would retro the real Red/Black/Charcoal AJ9. Only one kid in my school had those when they came out back in ‘93-’94.

i agree wit Cantbestopped 100%….dere IDENTICAL to da damn 9s…how can u hate on dese…dese r ma fav fusions…well not ma fav but dese r da only ones i culd see maself coppin nd im not that into fusions myself…i dont own a pair nd i dnt regret passin on any fusion…but dese 9 fusions r on point…i might cop da wht nd red or da unc’s 2maro..luckily ima 7.5 so i culd fit a 7 (kids size) nd save like 50 or 60 bucks b4 da employee discount lol…

Big boy , you can get them at most sneaker stores ( footlocker footaction etc ) &nd I’m not into these , at all .. &nd its not like i’m against all Fusions , I just don’t like any except the 5’s .. I think that the execution on all of the other Fusions were completely off .. Just my opinion .

All the hate for these, and I damn near missed out on the white and red ones in my size. Like I always say, you either NEVER liked the regular nines, or you NEVER liked the AF1. I’m leaning towards NEVER liking the nines, because these are a mirror image of the nines. It’s either that or people are just followers. I know someone that ALREADY have these here in Detroit.

i actually sold 3 pair of these for men sizes at 160 a pop so i think this color will do well just cuz its a bred colorway
