nikelikeme, he TK isn’t the first black skater to get a shoe deal or a signature. He certainly won’t be the last. I like TK’s shoes because the have a more overall more dressy (I know it’s a skate shoe) feel than the sports-minded Yeezys. But I would easily buy both!

this is getting pretty absurd! a lot of you guys sound like typical hypebeast! the tk shoe is dope. point blank! supra is in a league of its own right now, they are “risk takers” in a society full of carbon copy clones and duplicated norms, they seemed to out-do the skate world and step into the casual/classy light. im a nike supporter as well, and a longtime sneaker collector, but most,if not all of you, have to admit that over the past decade, nike has been hit or miss! retroing shoes that made them money and what not to increase revenue. like i mentioned before, i do own the two colorways of yeezy’s so my decision(opinion) is not based upon favor and status, i like the yeezy’s, but cost wise, and aesthatically, they are not messing with tk’s! as for the heads the heads wondering who tk is, terry is a rags to riches story, a person that has a very good story on growing up. he is a professional skateboarder, the third african american (if my memory serves correct) to have there own signature skate shoe (with the likes of kareem campbell and stevie williams..darrell stanton shoe was garbage with element). he is a rapper (very decent) and was also on viva la bam (bam margera’s mtv reality show) known as “compton ass terry”..he was also the captain of pharrell’s ice cream skateboard team..knowledge up youngstas!!!!lol

Yeezys Killed TKs easy….the yeezys were more limited and more sought after…..people were campin out for weeks to cop whereas any cat can go online or in a shop and cop the TKs…..TK can’t touch the Yeezys….Also, look at the retail, markups and the resell value of the Yeezys compared to the TKs….Yeezys are in a league of their own….Not to take anything away from TKs joints because they are fresh, but they are not touchin the Yeezys….I have copped and worn the yeezys and the TKs and the yeezys won that battle….

well i think that both of these shoes are overpriced and yeezy just wanted to release a hot sneaker that everybody wants but virtually no one has i think TK just followed the high top trend and okayed the first decfent hight top drawing he seen. I’m not really a big fan of both pairs. The “Yeezy’s” are ok, but its just a “Fused” NIKE. Everybody talks about Jordan Fusions, but Kanye’s shoe is a hybrid also. And for $215? Not worth it to me. Now I’ll buy almost any Jordan Package, Foamposite or Flightposite for their suggested retail, but not da Yeezy’s. And I’ll buy some SUPRA’s for about $60, but not more than that.

I liked the Air Yeezys better than TK’s Supras but in terms of winning that battle I believe he is right. I think that Kanye needs to put more pairs of Yeezys out there. I understand that you want to make the Yeezys limited and special, but common man you are already charging over $200 per pair, you gotta at least put out more pairs in more places!
